Last night I took the time to clean up my nail polish, organize it, and throw out the dried out ones. I thought I’d share my list with you of my current nail polishes.
I have two shiny blacks: Sally XTreme Black Out and Orly Black Vinyl. I think both are great blacks.
I have 1 black with sparkles: Icing Blackout. The color payoff with this isn’t that great. I don’t like it too well.
I have a dark blue that looks black, but has blue flecks in it, After Midnight. Again the color payoff isn’t great with this brand.
Orly’s L.a. Sashay and Bus Stop Crimson used to be my staple nail colors. They’re great dark reds. Orly’s Ruby Passion is a lighter red with lots of shimmer. I think these colors are great.
I haven’t had a chance to try China Glaze’s Evening Seduction yet, but I think I’ll love it.
I just did my nails last night, and they’re currently sporting China Glaze’s Flying Dragon.
Unfortunately a lot of my purple colors had to be thrown out, so I really only have a few right now.
Sinful Fiji is a lovely blue-violet purple color. Finger Paitns Get Real-ism is an easter egg purple with pink shine. Flying Dragon is a deep purple with red and blue shimmer. China Glaze’s Purple Panic is a neon purple, and a favorite of mine this summer. Sally’s Lavender Envy is a blue-lavender color.
Orly’s Gorgeous is a bright pinkish-purple color with a blue-violet sheen. It’s makeup equivalent is MAC’s Pigment in Pink Pearl, or AromaLeigh’s SnapDragon.
China Glaze’s Frostbight is a pretty bright blue, while Sally’s Blue It is a darker, more royal blue, and Cover Girl’s Blue You is kinda a dirty grey blue. L’Oreal’s Adorable is a powdery blue. L’Oreal’s flawless is a darkblue with sparkles.
Finger Paints Pink Inspiration is a very pale pink with lots of super fine shimmer. Sally’s Strawberry Icing is a slightly darker pink, but still pretty light. Coral Complement is a pretty coral color, perfect for a bright summer color. Orange Kick is not for the shy, but a color I’ve loved a lot this summer, too.
Sinful Gorgeous is a nice turquoise, but China Glaze’s Turned Up Turquoise really takes the cake for me. It’s just perfect.
Cover Girl’s City Lights is very nice, and of course Orly’s Shine On Crazy Diamond is a great clear with a rainbow of glitter.
Orly’s Cut the Cake is a barely perceptable sheen of pinkish-grey color.
Finger Paints Easel Come Easel go is the perfect silver metallic nail polish.
And Wet n’ Wild’s Jade Frost is a great pale jade metallic nail polish. I picked this color up on a whim and my toes were green for weeks because I kept repainting them this shade.
Are there any colors you think I’m missing?
Any colors you think I should try?
Let me know!
