I wanted to create a look today that would showcase my new MAC lippies. I perused the MAC Cult of Cherry Looks to see what they’d paired with the dark lips. I liked the look of what they did in the look entitled Jampacked, so I decided to loosely base my look today on that.

Restless is a yellowish vanilla color with a pink reflective, so it’s the closest color I have to MAC’s Nanogold.
Nanogold is described as a sheer yellow pink with pink pearl (frost), and is part of the Spiced chocolate quad.

Eyes:
MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study – all over eye area
L’Oreal Hip Eye Shadow in Restless – all over eye area
Origins Underwear for Lids in Pink Frosting – on browbone
MAC Liquidlast Liner in Point black – lightly along upper lash line. This is so much more difficult for me to use now that I’m used to using gel eyeliner that after I’d gotten a light even application on both upper lash lines, I switched to Black Out.
Aromaleigh Black Out gel eyeliner – along upper and lower lash line
Almay Black Waterproof Mascara

I highly recommend Aromaleigh’s Black Out gel eyeliner if you want a great black that isn’t going to come off or smudge. It’s better than Point Black, and far easier to work with, in my opinion.

I really love how I only used 2 colors to create this look, and it’s a very different eye look for me, but I like it.
