A heathered ruby FOTD from Aromaleigh

I wanted to try the Elemental Lustre Wonder again today, along with Morbid Curiousity. Wonder seems like a rather pale ruby shade. It’s described as a silver-based heathered ruby, so I was surprised at first when I could hardly see Morbid Curiousity when I applied it. After checking out the shade description of Morbid Curiousity, it’s supposed to be ‘smoked berries and plums with a multidimensional silvery green midtone.’ It’s equally lovely but it can’t contrast well with Wonder. So I snagged BlackPlanet (black with silver flecks) and used that in my outer vee and crease, and it looks great. BlackPlanet is probably my ‘go to’ outer vee and crease color, as it seems to look good with anything I pair it with.

I’m definitely a big fan of Aromaleigh’s Elemental Lustres. I highly recommend them, as they’re great for your eyes this fall.

All makeup below is Aromaleigh unless marked otherwise.

Eyes:
MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study – all over eye area
Tickle – all over eye area
Wonder – on lid
Morbid Curiousity – outer vee and crease
BlackPlanet – outer vee and crease
BlackPlanet – used eyeliner sealant on upper and lower lash line
Rimmel Mascara

Cheeks:
Wildflower

Lips:
Notorious
Revlon Sheer Plumdrop

I applied Notorious but the shade didn’t look quite right to me, so I applied Sheer Plumdrop over Notorious and I liked the results.

Face:
Meow Inquisitive Siamese foundation
Pure Opal – to highlight
Meow Light Siamese Skinny Dipper – in hollow of cheeks
Clear Ultra Resolution Finishing Powder

I hadn’t worn Wildflower blush in a while, and I’m glad I pulled it out today. I love the warm glow it imparts on my skin.

What do you think?
