So I recently purchased this EcoTools Bamboo Bath Sponge from Target. I was seriously disappointed with it. It’s super soft, and I love that it’s green. However, it doesn’t foam well at all with body wash. I had to use twice as much of my shower gel as I use in a regular sponge, and I just couldn’t get a good lather. I finally gave up on it and added a tiny bit of gel to my regular sponge, and finished the shower that way.

I was really disappointed because I wanted to love this sponge. However, having to use 3 times as much shower gel just doesn’t make it economical for me. Maybe if I used bar soap it would have worked as well as a regular wash cloth, but I’m not sure. I don’t recommend this product if you prefer to use shower gel.
