Too Faced – Totally Toasted and Sally B’s Ruby’s Red

I finally got to try Too Faced’s eye shadow. Yesterday I picked up Totally Toasted, one of their eye shadow duos. I deliberately chose neutral colors because I don’t really have a lot of those and they’re not colors I would normally wear. However, I really like them!

Too Faced’s eye shadow duo applied very smoothly over my eye shadow primer and blended easily, as well. In fact, it seemed like it blended almost as easily as some of my mineral eye shadows, so I’m very impressed.

As I wanted a neutral look, I went for Aromaleigh’s Rococo blush, and something new. Recently the very sweet Jen from Mythbuster Beauty sent me a lovely package of things. One of these things was Sally B’s Skin Yummies B Gloss Organic Lip Gloss in Ruby’s Red. This product feels soo good on my lips! It’s got peppermint oil in it, which I really love in glosses. It’s a pretty red with some very fine micro-shimmer, no chunky glitter. The color payoff is perfect for a gloss, and it feels so good on my lips! It smells very good, too. It also has some natural protection from the UVA/UVB, I think, because of the micas in it. I highly recommend that you check this out if you’re looking for a nice sheer red gloss.
