Another Shimmermoss Look

We went out to Sushi Tsu for sushi tonight, which is located in New Tampa. It’s my absolute favorite sushi place in all of Tampa. The food is consistently good, and I’ve only had problems with the service once or twice, and always with large groups.

I played with Shimmermoss again today. I like TF’s Chocolate Brown better than UD’s Twice Baked when using Shimmermoss and I love the depth that Blackground adds, too. I think that Lucky mixed with Chocolate Brown looks great.

Shade Descriptions:
Iced Sage – minty frosty sage green
Chocolate Brown – chocolate warm brown
Park Ave. Beige – neutral shimmery creamy beige
Lucky – brilliant deep copper
Shimmermoss – green with turquoise reflect
Copper Mink – coppery brown
True Love – watermelon pink

Eyes:
MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study – all over eye area
MAC Paint Pot in Blackground – about outer 1/2 of eye

And here are some random pictures of my cute puppy in her fabulous collar made by my friend Hoyden. She has an etsy store that will be set up soon at Hoyden’s Collars. This is a 2 inch martingale collar and I think it looks lovely on Phaedra.

All of the pictures today were taken on my new camera. I am SO IN LOVE with my Pink Canon PowerShot SD1100IS. This one is perfectly suited to my needs.

Minty green + copper on you = gorgeous :) Very flirty, in fact.

Your doggy is adorable! I’m a bit afraid of dogs (very bad experiences) but I could never be afraid of that cutie pie… Is your cat feeling any better?

I was sick all Christmas. So I ended up ordering way too much makeup… My friends say that I have to start blogging about my discoveries but I’m not sure. I hate photos of me :P I may be sending you a pic of the Lime Crime swatches if I can get a decent photo on Wednesday!

Thank you! I am in LOVE with that copper color, Lucky! If you don’t have it, I recommend that you at least swatch it to see if you like it. I’ll keep in mind that you find it flirty ;)

And Thank you for the compliments on Phaedra! My baby is very awesome. I think the key with dogs is choosing a dog from a good, reputable breeder and making sure the temperment is suited to what you’re looking for in a dog. She is a total cuddle buddy, but I raised her to be that way because I wanted a cuddle buddy dog. Having a dog with an ideal temperment allows you to mold the dog into what you want if you put the time and energy into it. We have a poodle because my men are allergic and she does not bother their allergies. Poodles are very people oriented, so they love being around people. When I took her to puppy school, she was almost more interested in the other people than the other puppies! I just took her to a dog park for the first time today and while she loved it, she always kept her eye on me, and when this huge American Akita tried to play with her, she hid behind me for a minute until I ran with the big dog to show her it was ok :)

I’m so sorry to hear that you had very bad experiences :( I’ve had some bad, but the good outweighs the bad. My boss’s pomeranian has bitten me a few times (but he’s kinda ill tempered), and I’ve been bitten by several cocker spaniels (hate the breed), but that’s really it. It sucks when you get bit though.

My cat is doing a LOT better. We’re having to feed her laxatives every day, but it’s really helping her. I’m also leaving water glasses (human ones) all over the house because I noticed her drinking out of my water glass (and I wouldn’t touch it after she touched it :P). This is encouraging her to drink more water, which she needs to be doing.

I’m so sorry that you were sick all of Christmas. I’m finally over my cold, but still feel very congested in my lungs. I hope that you’re feeling better now :)

You should definitely start blogging! I started blogging because I couldn’t find a lot of the reviews and swatches online that I wanted to read. I know I’d love to read whatever you wrote :)

I can’t wait to see your Lime Crime swatches! My gmail email is decorative.diva btw.

I love copper makeup. It makes the green in my eyes pop. So maybe I will get a sample…

I’m a cat person, although I had to leave my baby (Norwegian forest cat) to my parents when I moved in with my boyfriend. Our flat is small and Amelie is used to have her own yard (she has a leash because we don’t want anything bad happen to her) and be with her “siblings” (Cornish Rex girl and a Russian Blue boy). But I love cuddly dogs. So maybe when we move into a bigger apartment I can have a kitty and my boyfriend gets a puppy :) We just saw a small poodle in the park yesterday and (s)he was very energetic but friendly. And didn’t seem to get bothered about the other dogs, his/her frisbee seemed to be much more interesting!

Our cats also drink from the tap or glasses.. But they don’t touch their own water bowls! :D

I’ll let you know if I start blogging :) I’ll probably do it (if I do it) in English anyway so you don’t have to take Finnish courses *lol*

I know that Aromaleigh has some great copper colors, and this eyeliner is the Urban Decay 24/7 Lucky. For me, it tends to make my eyes appear more blue :)

I was a cat person for a very long time. I had siamese cats growing up, and then later I adopted a persian. We had 2 maine coone cats for a long time, too. When I got my Birman cat Quasar, it was after researching the breed for 2 years and finding out that they have less of the protein/enzyme that Ray is allergic to. He does pretty well with Quasar as long as he doesn’t put his face in her fur (which he’s done a few times!), but I also bathe her in hypoallergenic shampoo every few months. Incidentally, I adopted Quassar when she was 9 years old, so she came very set in her ways, and has a lot of personality quirks that make her difficult to live with, but I love her regardless. Some things are just annoying. Phaedra doesn’t have many of those quirks because we’ve worked hard to reinforce the positive behavior :)

While Poodle breeders will tell you that all poodles are the same, only the size varies, I respectfully disagree. Most of the toys yap all the time and drive me crazy, but that could just be because of the owners. The miniatures seem to be a lot better, and the standards (what my dog is) are very laid back. Phaedra could easily live in an apartment, provided I got to take her to a dog park or on a long walk daily. She loves her walks.

I definitely hope you get to have a kitty and puppy :) I really recommend deciding on what sort of traits you want in a dog, and if there are allergy concerns, then looking at hypoallergenic dogs that fit into that category. Then you can meet the dogs of the breeds that you are interested in and see if you think that they’d make you happy. That’s what we did.

Norweigan forest cats are gorgeous! They remind me of Maine Coones.

I’m terrible at learning a foreign language, unfortunately. I wish that we started learning languages much earlier in school. I didn’t start learning spanish until I was almost 13, and after studying it for 7 years, I never got to be any good until I was practicing with a tutor and speaking the language.

I would definitely love to read your blog, so please do!
