I haven’t cleaned up my edges yet, but here’s my NOTD for Sunday. I really loved how these turned out so I wanted to share ASAP.

Main Nails: (this is excluding my ring fingers, which I always do differently)
1. China Glaze Base Coat
2. China Glaze Awaken
3. Orly Sec n’ Dry top coat
4. Nfu.Oh 60 on the tips
5. Orly Sec n’ Dry top coat (2 coats)

Ring Fingers:
1. China Glaze Base Coat
2. China Glaze Joy
3. Orly Sec n’ Dry top coat
4. Nfu.Oh 52 on the tips
5. Orly Sec n’ Dry top coat (2 coats)

I really like the concept I was going for with these. Now if I can just improve my technique it would look better. My pinky and ring finger turned out well, the rest of the nails turned out ok. I think those turned out well because the nails on them are longer. I broke my other nails while cleaning, so they had to be cut short and evened out.

I really love how the Nfu.Oh looks on the tips of my nails. 60 look great on the lovely charcoal base of Awaken. I was surprised by how much I liked 52 with Joy, considering how Joy is such a red-based purple.

What do you think of the nails? Would you wear these colors?

Any tips for how to improve my tip painting? I’d love to hear them ;)
