This is the look I concocted for New Year’s Eve. I knew I wanted sparkly eyes and purple, so nothing else would do but Fume, Fancy Feline and Almost Midnight!

Eyes:
MAC Paint Pot in Blackground – on eyelid and into crease
MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study – from crease to eyebrows
Aromaleigh Fume – on eyelid
Aromaleigh Almost Midnight mixed with Aromaleigh Paranoia – applied damp to outer vee and crease and blended inward, then applied again dry
Urban Decay Lust – used to darken outer vee, lower lash line
Meow Fancy Feline – on browbone
Aromaleigh Black Out – upper lash line
MAC Liquidlast Liner in Point black – upper lash line on top of Black Out
Urban Decay Zero – lower lash line
MAC Pro Lash Black Mascara
Too Faced Starry Eyed Liner in Ooh & Aah – on the tips of my upper eye lashes

Cheeks:
TheBalm Stainiac in Beauty Queen

Face:
Mix of Aromaleigh Lux & Meow Ornament – to highlight face
Meow Inquisitive Sphynx Pampered Puss Foundation
Aromaleigh Ultra Resolution Finishing Powder in clear

Lips:

MAC lipliner in Cherry
MAC Glitz Gloss in Embellish
MAC Lipglass in Cult of Cherry

Later in the evening I switched to:
Therapy Systems in Bare
Prescriptives Colorscope lip gloss in Twinkling

Incidentally, if you’ve never tried Therapy Systems, that stuff feels AMAZING on your lips and had very nice color. Of course, Prescriptives was gorgeous and glossy. Very nice

Zoya Yasmeen (except ring fingers which were China Glaze Awaken)

Here’s what we did for New Year’s Eve…
We went to Crazy Buffet in Tampa for dinner with my friend Stacia, as New Years Eve is her birthday. Her boyfriend Gabe was there, our friend Carlye and her boyfriend and another of Caryle’s friends, as well as their friends Tammy and Chris. Ray and his brother Dave (not to be confused with our Dave, as our Dave was on call for work) were with me, and our friend Stefan and his girlfriend Jen met up with us there. We had a tasty dinner, and then Stefan and Jen and Ray and brother Dave and I parted ways with Stacia and her crew, as they were going to Czar in Ybor.

We called our Dave, and met up with him at Channelside for drinks and fireworks. We went to Oishii’s for drinks, and had sparkling sake. Yummy!

The fireworks were better than I thought they’d be, though I’m very spoiled from Disneyworld Fireworks. Nothing compares to Disney in my mind, but this was nice!

Then Dave got a call that let him know he’d have to be up very early for work, so he went home while the rest of us took off to the pool hall formerly known as Planet 9 on West Hillsborough. The DJ was not to my taste but playing pool was fun. We left there around 3 and came home.

Once home, I immediately had to take a shower because I reeked of smoke (ewwwwww!). I indulged in Sally B’s Lemon Sage sugar scrub, which was a real treat for the senses as I wanted to smell the tasty lemons!
