So as I mentioned earlier, I would be reviewing Urban Decay’s Cream Shadows.
First I tried Whipped and Suburbia together.
Suburbia – medium bronze with subtle gold microsparkle
Whipped – golden peach with subtle gold microsparkle

I put whipped on my lid, and suburbia in the crease and along the lower lash line. I put about 3 layers of Whipped and 2 layers of Suburbia.

After I had 3 layers of Whipped on, I realized I really liked it! Suburbia wasn’t bad, either. I really prefer this microsparkle.
Then I tried Sphynx and Asphalt.
Sphynx – icy pink with silver and iridescent glitter
Asphalt – black with lots of silver and iridescent glitter

I put Sphynx on my lid and crease and outer vee area, with Asphalt along the lower lash line. Then I put UD’s Cherry over the top of Sphynx and on my browbone. This is definitely how I will wear Sphynx. I really liked it.

You can see in the pictures how Cherry has some nice glitter going on,which really works with the glitter in Sphynx and Asphalt. So if you’re a fan of big bling glitter, these are the colors for you.
I next tried Weeds and Asphalt.
Weeds – medium green with yellow shift and big silver glitter
Asphalt – black with lots of silver and iridescent glitter

I put Weeds on my lid and it’s a gorgeous yellowish green. I put Asphalt in my outer vee and crease, and along the lower lash line. I only did two coats of each. I probably should have doone a third.

I really hate all the fallout from the big glitter in Urban Decay products. I think it’s because I’m spoiled from my mineral makeup, which has no noticeable fallout to me. However, these will make great bases for a lot of eye looks.
Asphalt is perfect to pair up with Oil Slick or any lighter color that you want to have some pop.
Weeds is perfect with any green that you like, but I think it would look especially nice with Chains, Green Goddess, Acid Rain or Mildew.
Whipped will look great with Sellout or Midnight Cowboy or Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, as well as Baked.
I think Suburbia might look good with Baked, Half Baked and Twice Baked.
Sphynx looks awesome with Cherry and I will be wearing those two together often.
In general, I think these are interesting bases to work with for eye shadow. I believe that these are Urban Decay’s answer to MAC’s Paint Pots. While I find MAC’s paint pots easier for me to work with, I think I could get used to these. The consistancy is just a lot creamier and more liquidy than a paint pot.
And OMG, never will I do so many eye shadow looks in such a short time frame. I have very sensitive skin and my eyes STILL hurt from taking the makeup off so many times in such a short period of time. My eyes still hurt!

Hello Cotton
The sphynx/cherry combo is my favorite one. Does sphynx look similar w/out the cherry on top (no pun intended)?

Hi Robyn!
Yes
Sphynx is a gorgeous pink, and you would look great in it. If you check out the previous post I made, I have swatches of the colors on my skin, so that might help you to see what Sphynx looks like without Cherry. Cherry is a very sheer iridescent pink color.

That’s why I can’t do different eyeshadow looks on my blog since I have very sensitive skin as well, but yeah, I’m buying Weeds now.

Doing more than 3 in a day is painful for me.
The trick with these creams is to let them dry all the way before applying the next layer.
Weeds is gorgeous
I’d love to see you do a few looks, if you feel comfortable at some point
