Today I got to try out some of my Pure Luxe samples, and I like them. I decided to do a Pure Luxe Valentine’s Day look for you
At first I wasn’t sure what I thought of the products, because Jezebel and Supernova seemed to be less pigmented then I thought they would be. Strawberry and Antique Lace were exactly perfectly pigmented as I thought they would be. However, I ended up thinking that the colors are PERFECTLY pigmented once I put my look together. I especially love Jezebel, as I feel it looks great as a lid color.

I LOVE Meow’s So Happy blush! It’s awesome. Apparently, I think raspberry shades are perfect shades for my cheeks, because I love how it looks on me, even if it looks a bit bold in the pictures.
Again, I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful Pure Luxe’s customer service has been. It’s very nice, much like Meow’s or Aromaleigh’s has been with me, or Fyrinnae’s. I think they’re a very reliable company to order from, and from what I’ve seen with the few products I’ve sampled, they have good makeup.
What do you think of Pure Luxe?Have you enjoyed my Valentine’s Day looks?Do you like the Meow Masterpiece blush, So Happy?
What are you wearing for Valentine’s Day tomorrow?

oh wow…that look is gorgeous…I love the pure luxe products and strawberry is awesome….perfectly put together and the cheek color is the bomb…..gorgeous….I am using face front tomorrow but not valentine colors….orange circus circuit, and death by rubies with fyrinnae french vanilla shake…maybe mac deep blue green to line. not sure…but probably with a nude lip…light cheeks too because the eyes will be a little eclectic…..can’t wait.
You look beautiful, and the way you did your eyeshadow(bit more blended then usual) looks great on you. I wish I could pull off blue as well as you can!
I am new to your blog so I apologize if you already covered this, but how well can you work with Pure Luxe shadows? I wear my makeup rather sheer, so I was curious how well it thinly blends out and stays put.
I really like Meow’s blush on you. It looks a little warm on you, very nice glow. I mentioned the ones (MC blushes) that I am working on trying in my last post. The shadows do appear to be a little translucent, but show up nice. My husband is out of town on business, so whatever I wear for Valentine’s Day will be just playing around and having fun!
Happy Valentine’s Day!!
Hi Krista!I’m glad you like it, thank you I think I must be drawn to raspberry and cherry cheek and lip colors, because I instantly knew I’d like this color when I read the shade description as being raspberry.
Your look sounds awesome! I hope you’ll post some pix.I think light cheeks and a really nude lip would look good with eclectic colors.
Hi Balberith!Thank you so much for visiting my blog and the compliments!Today is the first time I’ve worn Pure Luxe colors, so this is the first time I’ve done a FOTD with them. I only have 7 colors, but from what I purchased, I chose some fairly sheer shades.Antique Lace is a very sheer color and I like it as a browbone color.Jezebel is a very sheer pink.Supernova is very sheer, but very sparkly.Mermaid is very sheer as well.Lush, Strawberry and Indigo are very pigmented. So I think if you want sheer washes of color, you will be able to find them at Pure Luxe. Some of the colors from their website that are very sheer and pretty to me are:Ghost Mist, Antique Lace, Peach Parfait, Orange Sorbet, Twinkle, Serenity, Jezebel, Bikini, Frolic, Love Spell, Mermaid, Ambition, Peek-A-Boo, and Luminious. These do seem to blend down sheerly with the shades I chose. It stays put pretty well, but I alway use an eye shadow base such as Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
Hi Lyndsey!Thank you I hope you get to pamper yourself for Valentine’s day then if your husband is out of town! I saw your other post, I’d love to hear what you think of the blushes you picked out.
Love the look! And the blush looks amazing on you, it really makes you glow. And it’s not too bold, quite the contrary!Remember when I said about the one look you did that maybe you would have needed a warmer blush? Well, I think this is THE shade.
Hi Saila!Thank you!I think you’re right about the blush, it doesn’t seem too warm, but it seems to warm me up. I think I will have to get a full size of this at some point
Pretty! I wish I could get my eyeliner to look like that…
BTW – just gave you a shout-out and award on my blog #:)
Hi Nixxy!Thank you so much! That was so sweet of you!
The trick with the eyeliner is that I have been using indelible gel eyeliner (you can purchase it at Aromaleigh.com or MadMinerals.org) and a bent eyeliner brush. My bent eyeliner brush is by Sonia Kashuk, but you can also buy one from CoastalScents.com. I start about the middle of the lid and work my way outward, and then work my way inward
Happy Valentine’s Day!
