EcoTools Brushes

Because I love my EcoTools shading brush so much, I wanted to buy a back up of it. I’ve been searching high and low for it to be sold separately for months, but it’s all been in vain. Finally, I gave up on trying to find it separately and just bought the set that it came in.

I LOVE that the packaging says, “Great For Mineral Makeup.”

I would honestly agree with that statement because these brushes are so soft and silky. They feel great on your skin. And with the exception of the big silver kabuki brush I have from them, I don’t think the rest have ever shed.

I think I have about 16 different EcoTools brushes now.

This is the brush that I bought the set for. The top one is the one I used today in my crease and to blend. The bottom one is the new one.

These truly are great brushes for the money. the 5 piece set I purchased was $11.99 from Walgreens. You can also purchase them at Target and several other places. Here is the complete list of places that they are available for purchase.

The Recycled Aluminum retractable Kabuki brush is the brush that I use pretty much every day for my foundation. It does take forever to dry, so the little mini kabukis work well when it’s drying, or my jumbo flat top brush from Aromaleigh works well, too.

Normally I use the little kabuki brushes for applying highlighter to my face. The largest brushes are great for finishing powders. And the blush brushes are nice, though I’m still nervous about using anything other than a fiber optic blush brush to apply blush.

I’m very glad that I was turned on to EcoTools, for many reasons. The eco-tools products made with bamboo handles, recycled aluminum ferrules, and synthetic taklon bristles, all of which are better for the environment. For the longest time the only makeup brushes I would really use were MAC, so I consider myself picky when it comes to brushes, yet I really love these brushes.

So tell me, have you tried EcoTools brushes? If so, what did you think? If not, what are you waiting for?

I have never tried them…I have looked at them at Walgreens and Target but here they only had a few…I think just the powder brush and a small set…they weren’t what I was looking for….I was kinda sad because I know how much you like them….So I have been meaning to give them a try but haven’t been able to find the ones I wanted…

Yeah, there are like 2 or 3 brush sets sold, and some of the brushes I just cannot find individually. That’s why I bought this brush set, basically for the shading brush, but I figured I’d use the small kabuki for highlighting. It really is a good set for $11.99.

I found them at Bed Bath $ Beyond. The sets sell for $9.99 then 20% off w/coupon. They do have some individual brushes there, you should take a look. I originally got them for my daughter to use, and tried them myself and love them. I like the variety of face brushes, and the eye shading brush is great for a two color blending. The concealer brush is so soft I use that for shadows.

They are definitely worth a try.
