I was recently contacted by Kathy Duncan of Fusion of Color Cosmetics, as she asked me if I would review Fusion of Color. I told her sure, as I’m always happy to try new mineral makeup! I was pretty certain that I’d heard of Fusion of Color before, and found out that it was probably from Lucky Magazine.
Here’s what she was kind enough to send me to review.

Pink Lemonade Lip Gloss – a pink to a bronze gold hue

This is the lippy on me, out in direct sunlight. I love the pink and bronze and gold flecks. It’s a lovely shade.

Blushes
Lavish – A Pink Shimmer with a hint of gold

I really like the Pink Lemonade, as it’s a gorgeous sheer color flecked with with pink and bronze.
The Peach Daiquiri blush is nicely pigmented, and I can’t wait to try out the Creamsicle blush!
The eye shadows are very sheer, and are extremely easy to layer with each other. They’re very buildable colors, so even the darkest colors are nothing to shy away from. You can increase the intensity of the colors by layering them, or stay sheer for a veil of color. Of course, you can also increase the intensity by foiling the colors.
Black Pearl in particular is a very interesting color. It’s a mix of black and copper to my eyes, and when I wetlined with it, it took on a very dark copper-black look with a nice lustre.
Rain Storm is my favorite out of the colors that I’ve tried so far. It seems to be a very dark navy to my eyes, with black and green flecks. It looks awesome layered over Lapis.
I’m not sure yet what I think of the foundation. I wore a very sheer layer of Pale today. How do you think I look? This is me outside in indirect sunlight.

Hello Cotton
Hi Phyrra!
Wow; that’s a lot of products to test drive
The foundation looks like a good match from the pictures, what exactly is it you’re unsure about? Eyes and cheeks look great as well

Hi Vanessa,
I’m going to try it again tomorrow though, and use a different brush for application. Sometimes I have to wear a new foundation a few times before I can tell if it matches ok or not. That’s why I always do pictures in direct sunlight, indirect sunlight and indoors to see how I end up looking
I wasn’t sure how well the foundation matched. It looks like it’s slightly off to me and I can’t figure out why yet, so until I can figure it out, I can’t tweak it

Hi Makeupper
Thank you!
You should definitely try Fusion of Color’s blushes. I’m wearing Creamsicle today and I love it. Seeing pretty, pigmented blushes like that makes me smile.
