Too Faced Shadow Insurance – A Necessity for Me

I put my Too Faced Shadow Insurance through a real test yesterday. Yesterday I went to Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot and the recently renamed Hollywood Studios with my family (because my in-laws are in town). I used TFSI with my eye shadow to keep it in place all day, and it did not disappoint. This lasted in 80+ degree weather, with me running around like crazy.

I wore:

Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Rapunzel Had Extensions – all over the eye area
Aromaleigh Gel Eyeliner in Black Out – upper lash line
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero – lower water line

Face:
Fyrinnae Mica Free Foundation in Moonstone

Lips:
Fyrinnae Glitter Kittiez Lip Lustre

The 24/7 eyeliner smudged a little bit under my eye. The Black Out didn’t move. The eye shadow didn’t budge. The Lip Lustre lasted pretty well throughout the day. I only touched it up twice.

After running around all day, my foundation still looked relatively good, and only needed a minor touch up before dinner. I was running around the parks from 9am until 9pm, when I took off to come home.

This is why TFSI is one of my must haves for eye shadows. It works the best for me out of all of the products that I’ve tried as an eye shadow primer. I feel like other products are definitely good, and may be better for other people, but this is the one that works the best for me. You can see what other eye shadow primers I’ve reviewed here.

I’m super impressed at the fact that I had no creasing with my eye shadow after being out in the heat all day. No other primer I’ve tried has been able to do that.

That is really interesting because I find that although TFSI really makes my eyeshadows stand out, it creases! It is probably because I have rather oily lids. I’m hoping to pick up UDPP soon and test it out (I’ve heard it is better for people with oily lids) but I just don’t feel like dealing with its packaging which is the main reason I didn’t buy it to begin with.
