Finger Paints Sunburst Summer Collection

When I was at Sally’s Beauty Supply today, I finally saw the Finger Paints Sunburst Summer Collection. I picked out Turquoise Tile, Cherry Ices and Strawberry Shake. The other colors in the collection are Yellow Bikini, which is a lemony sort of yellow that I almost nabbed, but decided against because I just don’t really wear yellows. Lilac Lagoon is a very light shimmery lilac with what I think is a slight golden shimmer. Ripe Peach is a very creamy orangey-melon type shade.

Turquoise Tile is a gorgeous shimmery blue turquoise shade.
Strawberry Shake is a shimmery pink with an almost violet shimmer.
Cherry Ices is a to-die-for red with a slight golden shimmer.

This collection is really cute and fun for summer, and it’s a nice alternatives to neons if you don’t like brights such as Color Club’s Electro Candy collection.

Now as you all know, I love Finger Paints, but I think their PR really needs some work. Their website hasn’t been updated in at least a year, and you can’t ever really find good information about their collections online at the Finger Paints Website or even at Sally’s Beauty Supply. Thankfully there are bloggers out there who get to preview the collection to help raise awareness for the company, such as All Lacquered Up.

You can buy Finger Paints exclusively at Sally’s Beauty Supply. If you have a Sally’s card (which I do), you’ll get a nice discount on them, too.

While I was at Sally’s, I also picked up another bottle of China Glaze’s Fast Forward Top Coat, and Batiste Dry.

If you decide to try Finger Paint’s Sunburst Summer Collection, let me know what you think :)

I’m in the process of painting my tips with it now!

That’s funny, I was just looking over their site the other day…and was thinking that it needed a bit of work.

I only have one color of Fingerpaints polish (Be A Pal-Ette…a nice dark purple with silver glitter in)…but I thought that the rest of their line was a bit too unoriginal.

I’m glad to see that they have some new colors out…I am going to have to go check it out now. Thanks!

      Hi Concertina,
      I have Be A Pal-ette and love it :)
Finger Paints has released some really pretty colors in my opinion. Their Holiday Nutcracker collection had some gorgeous shades.
Butterscotch Cookie is a caramelized gold with gold micro shimmer, Maroon Macaroon is an awesome burgundy with burgundy micro shimmer, Black. Gumdrop is a dark purple with violet micro-shimmer.

Some of my other favorites from them include:
Easel Come Easel Go is a great silver metallic with silver shimmer.
Coral Complement is a great neon coral creme (and I’m not a fan of cremes).
Studio Ruby-O is a fun hot pink color with shimmer.

I think they’re definitely worth checking out, they’re just so under-represented! I have no idea what their marketing and PR department does. I wish that I could contact them to let them know I love their products!
