Haha, when I saw your lippie post on aromaleigh, I was wondering what shadows you were wearing. I really like this look. It is subtle and yet a bit haunting in a way. I really like Bette's Bangs wet-lined and the contrast between your lower liner with Bette's Bangs and the Silk and Cyanide on your inner lid. Any idea on how Archetype is doing shipping wise/responding to orders and emails?

      Hi Tally,
I'm not sure how Archetype is doing. I haven't had a response to them on MySpace in a long time. However, I did get my last order ok (back in June). I like their stuff but you really need a sticky base under it to help show off the colors.

Hmmm, yeah, I read about needing a sticky base to get the colors to show up. I guess I'll just place a really tiny order eventually so if it never comes, I won't be too mad. The samples are so darn cheap!

Thanks Phyrra for doing an Archtype look (well, 2 actually). I really love the colors and will use them with a sticky base when mine arrive (hopefully, someday). I did have a response from them back in July – it was about 2 weeks after my inquiry though – sent to her gmail account.

Happy to say that I have all the colors coming that you used here. :)

      Hi Tally,
I'd definitely use a Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil or a paint pot or indelible cream eye shadow in addition to TFSI with these shadoes. They're super sparkly and you can't really see the colors properly without some sort of base.

      Hi Katrina,
No problem! I did both of the Archetype looks because you'd asked for some :) Hopefully the video tutorial helped?
I think it took me 6 weeks for my first order and 4 weeeks for my second order from them.

      Hi MissTat,
Thanks! I think it's the iridescence that I like the best, too.

Yes! The video is great – all of yours are actually. I notice some company's colors need a different application approach so your vids are coming in very handy – especially for the Fyrinnae stuff (which I LOVE but need to practice appying). Thank you so much again!!

      Hi Katrina,
      Thanks!
Yes, super sparkly colors like Archetype need a sticky base, whereas complex colors like Fyrinnae (and some Meow and Aromaleigh) really benefit from the patting it on method.

What a soft look, I love how these colors coordinate together. And I'm in love with China white too, it's such a complex color!

      Thanks!
I think if you love china white you will like silk and cyanide.

This look reminds me of film noir beauties, your eyes look so enchanting!
I think Archetype has some really good stuff but some of the colours are more glitter than anything else. But there are some definitive gems and the samples are really cheap. I love their lipglosses!

      Hi Saila!
I basically realized that for me to like most of the Archetype colors I have to use a sticky base, otherwise they're just lots of glitter/shimmer. But on a base, I like how they look :)
      Thank you!
