This is a great look for Halloween. Anyone who wants to go dressed as Cleopatra could wear this look. Funny,I was thinking of getting the gals at the Beauty School to give me a Cleo cut. I'm also thinking of going back to my natural brown haircolor. It's scary though. I've been a blond for too long!

      Hi Starlight,
      Thank you!
Sometimes it's fun to be natural, but I prefer to be dyed, too.

      hi Phyrra,

i watched you vid and i have to say that it's interesting that you use a separate brush to blend the two totally different shades. it's never occurred to me use change a brush but it might just be pure laziness. but i think it's a really smart thing to do otherwise the left over pigments will muddy up the colors.

the look is stunning and you draw the shapes in so well.

      Hi Suzie,
      Thank you!
The cat influenced egyptian eye shape is one of my favorites.

First off, I'm loving your site and swatches! I'm *relatively* new to indie makeup companies, and your reviews are a *huge* help.

I have a question for you about the meow egyptian treasures eyeshadow collection. I'm already a huge fan of Aromaleigh's Bete Noir collection, and was wondering if any shades in this collection are somewhat similar…I plan on ordering a bunch of samples from meow cosmetics from this particular line, but having limited funds, would rather skip over the shadows that I could probably substitute a bete noir shade with.

      Hi Cat!
In my opinion, I don't really think that the Bete Noires are comparable to the Meow Egyptian. There is some similarities with the Egyptian and Aromaleigh's Elemental Lustres, but even then, they're not exact.

Hm, I would probably suggest if you have time, look at my swatch pictures again, and you can eliminate some of the ones that are very similar, because a couple of the golds were very similar to me. Now, this is coming from a girl who has a TON of purple because each purple has their own nuance, but not a ton of gold :P

I'd also be happy to make suggestions if you'd like ;)
