This look is for Aromaleigh’s Weekly Makeup Challenge. This week’s challenge is:
“The challenge this week, I’ve decided should be something representative of you. Use colours that you feel represent who you are.”
So I went for dark, mysterious and complex colors.
Elegie – a dark dose of shimmering jewels
Late for work – vivid deep cornflower blue luster with sparkles of blue and gree
Purple Princess – a deep, satiny purple with rich rose tones and a russet shadow
Moonagedaydream – exquisitite deep teal blue with gold shimmer
Moonbright – sweet violet
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Aromaleigh Late for Work – inner 1/2 of eyelid
Aromaleigh Elegie – outer 1/2 of eyelid
Aromaleigh Moonagedaydream – crease
Aromaleigh Late for work – tightly in lower crease
Aromaleigh Purple Princess – tightly in middle crease
Aromaleigh Elegie – in crease on top of everything
Aromaleigh Moonbright – on browbone to highlight
Gel Eyeliner in Black Out – upper lash line
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Lust (from Aromaleigh ebay) – lower lash line
Aromaleigh Lash Primer
Benefit BadGal Lash Mascara in Black
MAC Lipstick in Sweet Thing
Aromaleigh 1CL + Alabaster Glissade
I think this look turned out nicely.
What do you think?
I also received a small haul in the mail from Spell Cosmetics. Spell Cosmetics had their All That Glitrz collection 50% off, so I picked up:
Do I Dazzle You – a hot pink blush, halfway between matte and shimmer
Bitten Gloss – this looks like a rosy mauve shade to me
Supernatural Vamp Up – patent leather shine plus illuminating particles in a plumping clear gloss
I also received a free sample of After Dark, which I have and love, but I have an idea for it
I’m looking forward to playing with these.
