I did a look for Aromaleigh’s Weekly Makeup Challenge, though this could be a Halloween Look or a Costume look. The challenge was to do a comic book character and I chose a Chaos Comic character, Chastity the Vampire.
If you’ve never seen Chastity before, here’s what she looks like.
I used to read a ton of comics and Chastity was one of my favorite characters. Some of my friends even used to call me Chastity as a nickname because of my short red hair and other similarities.

I feel like I really nailed the look and essence of Chastity.
What do you think? Do you like it? Do you like vampire or red looks? Would you wear a costume like this for Halloween?

Oh goodness, I LOVE it. Especially you lips, that color combination is just perfect for the look. I would wear an outfit like that in a heartbeat (and not just for Halloween, but out clubbing though Oregon has a dearth of goth clubs, especially compared to L.A.), though I'd probably wear a lot more than Chastity.
I also love red eye looks. Bite Me is probably one of my favorite Fyrinnae shadows.
Hi Lindsey,Thank you!I like this sort of thing, too, though I usually wear a bit less to clubs. This is definitely cute and comfortable.I'd love to see you wearing Bite Me
WOW! I really like this.:) You look amazing! I definitely need those Fyrinnae lippies now.
I love red and vampire looks
Glad to see you are having fun with Diabolic! I've gotta try that combo out (sheerer black for me, more acidic cherry). Your lips look great!
I'd wear this for halloween, minus the red hair since I look horrible in bright red hair!
Hi Laura,Thank you!Yes, you do
Hi Tally,Yeah, I tried Diabolic alone and felt like it was too dark, so I decided to mix it with Acidic Cherry, though I suppose I could have done Type A instead.
I used to have my hair dyed this color, so I'm quite fond of it on me
I bet you could do a dark burgundy though
the hair looks good on you. i like the cut. and i like the lip and eye color too. *worships*
Hi Suzie,Thank you!
I probably have a few photos of my looks with it it somewhere on my harddrive. I'll see what I can dig up, and email them to you.
Eep, nevermind, got a failure to deliver notice when I tried to email you.
Hi Lindsey,What email address did you try?fresco dot phyrra at gmail dot com works for me, I just tested it from my work email.Doh I need to update my comment thing to have my new address
Those lips! How lovely.
(And I had to LOL because I have that shirt, too.)
I'd wear the outfit, but red hair makes me look like something dying. It's a damn pity because I have serious red hair envy. It looks gorgeous on you!
Hi Amanda,Try a darker shade if bright red doesn't work. Sometimes a burgundy will work, or a coppery shade. And glad I'm not the only one with the awesome shirt
Dark burgundy looks OK on me, and so do the various shades of eggplant (aubergine)- in fact, I posted a picture of one of the shades on karmicdreaming.net because I'm so tempted to re-dye my hair- but anything warm-toned makes me look jaundiced. So of course, it would stand that those warm shades are my absolute favorite. I'm contrary that way.
To my eyes this wig is a true red shade. I tend to prefer blue based, cooler reds myself I've used Manic Panic's Pillarbox red, Vampire red, etc to get some gorgeous looks, but lately I've been feeling purples and teals.
I've never tried a true red. Now I'm wondering if I can pull it off.
The blue-based reds are the ones I can wear. The Manic Panic shades I used were Deadly Nightshade and Divine Wine, but neither stayed too long because I never bleached my hair first. My bathroom looked like the scene of a murder the first time I used Divine Wine!
wow ms courtney, i love your look…so vampire-y! ^_^ take care dear and thanks again for the package you sent ^_^
Hi Amanda,Definitely give it a shot!
Hi Nurse Thank you!And you're quite welcome.
Great job, you look hot!!
