Meow’s Eerie Asylum

Today I wanted to wear Eerie, so I knew I should pair it up with Asylum. I LOOOOOOOOOOVE purple and teal and blue :)

Shade Descriptions:
Eerie – bright purple with blue iridecence and blue sparkle
Asylum – gleaming teal loaded with green iridescence and blue and green sparkle
Grave Robber – mysterious deep navy with bright blue iridescent undertone
Spellbinding – white shadow glistening with surprising multi colored sparkle and iridescence

All four of the above shades are on my list to buy in full size. Yes, I love them that much.

Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Meow Asylum – lid
Meow Eerie – crease
Meow Spellbinding – to highlight
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy – used along upper and lower lash lines
Meow Grave Digger – on top of the Pixie Epoxy
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero – upper and lower water lines
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Yeyo – inner corners of eye, smudged
Aromaleigh Lash Primer
Givenchy Mascara in Extensions Blue
Benefit BadGal Lash Mascara in Brightening Blue

I found the Givenchy Mascara VERY DIFFICULT to use! It has the spiked mace head. The color was pretty though. That’s why I ended up going over it with Benefit’s Blue mascara.

Cheeks:
Spell Royal Flush Blush

Face:
Meow Pampered Puss foundation in Inquisitive Siamese

Lips:
Fyrinnae lip lustre in Shangri-La

I LOVE Shangri-La! I think it’s a gorgeous color. It’s described as a vibrant azalea purple-pink. I think it’s just gorgeous! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

What do you think of this look? Love the combination? Hate it?

I love it (of course, my favorite colors), but omg, Eerie is perfect for pairing with teal. With that blue reflect, it almost looks like it reflects the teal in Asylum (which I think I need in my life).

I bought those two (eerie and asylum) in full sizes yesterday. They are so perfect together, and they match your hair! Shangri-la complements the look perfectly. I'm trying to wait patiently for my Fyrinnae order but it's so hard! :) Also, your earrings are really pretty!

Lovely and of course I love anything green!!!

I love it!!! I was thinking Asylum would be more green, but this looks much more blue to me. And now I will be using Shangri-La tomorrow! Another great look, thanks so much for posting so often!

      Hi lindsey,
Thank you! I know, I think the blue sparkles in Eerie make it great with teal :)

      Hi Amanda,
      Yay!
      And thank you!
I'm glad you picked up Eerie and Asylum.
The earrings I bought at Target.

      Hi Krista,
      Glad you like!

      Hi Katrina,
I think it's mostly so blue because I used the blue liner but I loooooove it.
      Glad you like Shangri-La too!

I hate it! nah, just kidding, it looks really great, looks kind of casual, kind of like what you'd get when you cross a gypsy with a soccer mom. I like the curtain thingy you did with your hair, looks really cool, and the pinkisher lipstick is cool too.

Oh yeah, and btw, what's an "FTC"? You said it in one of your posts yesterday and I don't know what it means=/

      Hi Daniel,
      You crack me up!
A gypsy with a soccer mom, lol.
I have a standard poodle, not children :P
Though I suppose I do have an SUV (an Aztek).

Ooh, very pretty! I especially love Shangri-La! Now I'm dyin' for my Fyrinnae order to arrive, can't wait to get my lips on that.

This look is so wonderful! I love the purple-teal combination.
I noticed you always use the TFSI, even with the Pixie Epoxy, but do you find you can skip the eyeshadow base and use just the epoxy for sparkly shadows? Does it feel heavy on the eyes at all? I've been wanting to buy the epoxy, but wasn't really sure about the feel of it on the eyes.

You know I always love the purple/teal/blue combos on you! All of those except the teal are on my wishlist too :) (Teals are difficult for me to wear, at least full-lid…they usu. can't be too dark). And you wore the new lippie. Yay! Looks like a less shiney, more saturated, more purpley MAC pink poodle. Classic "you" look :)

      Hi CeriseDrea,
      Thank you :)
I hope you love Shangri-La, I really do.

      Hi Squidmarket,
I think I'm addicted to purple and teal!
I always use TFSI before I use anything, and I believe the pixie epoxy needs to be used (on me at least) with an eye shadow primer, because otherwise I'll have creasing.
It doesn't feel heavy, but it is sort of… cool? when you first put it on.

      Hi Tally,
I'm loving the purple and teal :)
I swear I like to wear it at least once a week!
Yeah the lippy is more of a creamy color but I think it is ultra flattering. Hehe, I always felt like red lips were classic me but I've been wearing all kinds of pinks these days!

      Hi Suzieduck,
      Yay I'm glad you like!
      Thank you ;)

Did someone turn up the heat? Because it's HOT! I love the colour combination on you, it's very sultry. And it suit your hair perfectly!

      Hi Saila,
      Thank you!!
Teehehe. I feel so addicted to teal and purple these days :)

      Hi Izzy,
      Thank you!

Gorgeous! And that blue is almost the exact color of your stunning eyes! :)

      Hi Recessionista,
      Thank you!

    • http://www.blogger.com/profile/07579730245266470510 Tally7

I agree, Shangri-La is very flattering on you :) I like that it is more saturated than Pink Poodle, and I like creamy color. Depending on the look, or on your mood, it's nice to be able to decide b/w creamy, matte, shiny, etc, don't you think? LOL so red lips are you? Well, you HAVE been wearing a lot of pink lately :).

    • http://www.blogger.com/profile/02168093054712781267 Phyrra

      Hi Tally,
Yeah, until about a year and a half ago, 95% of my lippies were red, but I've had a lot of fun trying pinks ;)

You look beautiful! I love the way your eyes are peeking through your bangs. It appears as if you’ve done something different with your hair. Looks like I’ve got some blog catching up to do.

LOL, I just realized this post is a year old. I googled “Meow Eerie” and your post popped up on my screen.

      • Phyrra

Hehe! I did cut my hair off on Friday.
