The Revolution has come: Mineral Makeup Mutiny!

I’ve seen some great things today.

This is a really good read. One of the important tips she points out is listing ingredients. If a company doesn’t list ingredients, or lists crap ingredients such as ‘shimmer,’ ‘frost,’ ‘pigment,’ it’s probably not a company to buy from.

A questionable ingredient list looks like:
mica, shimmer, pigment, mineral
This is bad because it doesn’t list FDA approved ingredients! Shimmer is not an ingredient!

A real ingredient list looks like:
Eye Shadow Ingredients: Mica. May contain: Ultramarines, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide, Manganese Violet, Chromium Oxide, Copper, Tin Oxide, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Red 40, Blue 1, Silica.

Please trust me when I say that these are worthwhile to watch and read.
