This review is overdue, but I’ve been a bit off of my schedule due to my fright with Phaedra. A while ago I purchased nail polish, glosses and eye shadow samples from Evil Shades. Andrea, the sweet owner, was kind enough to send me some extra samples AND samples for the Halloween Giveaway I did. (which will go out in the mail tomorrow!)
First up, I LOVE the Illusion Eye Shadows.
I hope that these will eventually be offered in more colors.
I really liked Mysteria and Devil’s Bonfire.
I used Fyrinnae’s Pixie Epoxy and the colors really popped in person (and I think they look pretty good in the pictures to be honest).

The regular eye shadows come in a variety of shades and they’ve got great pigmentation. They apply smoothly and blend easily, which is always a plus in my book. Banshee, Abyss, Moonlit and Suffocation are easily my favorites.

The Lip Glosses are super fun! I really need to pick up Sinister, Lethal Kiss, Deadly and Suffocation. Actually let’s be honest, I want them all! I really liked Guilty as Sin & Banshee.
Now, I had purchased nail polish, too, in Witching Hour, Liquid Evil, and Satis. However, Evil Shades discontinued their nail polish. This is sad coz I’d have loved to have picked up Mausoleum. Andrea may do some LE runs of nail polish, which would be really cool.
Evil Shades also makes custom nail polish necklaces, which are pretty cute.
Also, please note the sample baggies are HUGE. You get a LOT of product!
Now, let’s talk about pricing, since you already know I think that these are good products.
Samples are $.75, which is pretty inexpensive for a sample, as most companies charge $1.
Now, her lip glosses are $2.25, which is incredibly inexpensive!
Her full size eye shadows are $2.85 to $3.00.
I’m telling you right now, she should be charging at least $4.
In short, I like her eye shadows and lip glosses. I hope Evil Shades decides to make more colors. I also think they’re an incredible product for the price.
So yes, I recommend Evil Shades! Try them! Let me know what you think

i love Evil Shades, i bought their full sample collection a while ago and they are fantastic! You also get a lot of product for 75c – one of the baggies i emptied into an old Fyrinnae sample jar filled it up completly.
Suffocation, Abyss, Devils Bonfire, Erinnye, Zombie and Sinnister are probably my favourites

You're totally right! I forgot to mention not only are the samples inexpensive but huge! Gotta update my review.
I love this stuff! I have several of the polishes, and Guilty as Sin lip gloss too, its so silky and moisturing and doesnt leave my lips tacky. I only have Suffocation and a huge sample of Mysteria and both are stunners, I put suffocation on wet and all I could say was WOW.

I'm not going to lie, waiting for this review was the only thing holding me back from ordering, and now I'm off to order the sample collection. Oh, and hearing how large the samples are definitely doesn't hurt either!

I'm sorry it was delayed but I've been really taken up with what's going on with Phaedra.
It's okay, I probably would have reacted worse to the Phaedra than you did. Considering what you were going through, I think you held yourself together quite well. I didn't mind waiting, and it was probably better to wait, as I recently hauled both Aromaleigh AND Fyrinnae, so it's good to space things out a bit. Oh, and I just ordered the whole eyeshadow sample collection from Evil Shades. I want to try the gloss, but I'm going to wait for a future order.
I'm also trying to wait until after my birthday and Christmas to try Morgana Minerals, since I've been ordering far too much makeup lately. And I figure by then, I'll have more money to do spend there, which is good, because I really want several of her lipsticks.
