Morgana Minerals Druscilla’s Sister Zaria

Today I toyed with Morgana Minerals foundation, so I ended up doing a pretty look with their eye shadows, too. I’m completely in love with Druscilla’s Sister. Apparently pink is my new black. Or purple. I need LOTS of it. Anyway, I LOVE how my eyes turned out.



Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Morgana Minerals Zaria – inner lid & to highlight
Morgana Minerals Druscilla’s Sister – on lid, into crease
Morgana Minerals Witch’s Wine – crease
Morgana Minerals Intense Turquoise Glow – on top of Zaria to highlight on browbone
Hard Candy eyeliner in Sushi – lower lash line
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Yeyo – lower water line
Benefit BadGal Lash mascara in Black

Cheeks:
Hard Candy Pinup – used to sort of contour on the cheeks a bit
Hard Candy Honeymoon – used more on the tops of the cheeks to highlight a bit

Face:
Fyrinnae Velvet-Gel Silica Primer
Morgana Minerals foundation in Pale Neutral

Lips:
Aromaleigh lip balm in Minty Cocoa Chip
Too Faced Borderline Lipliner in Clear
Silk Naturals lipstick in Sultry
MAC Dazzleglass in Love Alert


I love how my lips turned out, too.

Now for the lack of love.
 I’m kind of sad with the Hard Candy eyeliner Sushi. I put Too Faced Shadow Insurance along my lower lash line and lower lid so that when I applied my Sushi liner, it would help it stick around. I applied this around 8:30 am. By probably 1:30 pm it was gone, and I hadn’t been out running around or anything. You could just barely see it.

So the Hard Candy liner, while pretty, didn’t stick around very long even with TFSI. I also had to run the liner along my lash line several times to get the color to show up. So it wasn’t as pigmented as I would have liked, though it is pretty. I think if you’re looking for this color, MAC’s Technakohl liner in Full of Fuchsia (deep blue magenta) is better. I have that color as well and I’ve had good results with it. Love it.

    I love the lips, and the look in general! I can't get away with pinks, but you look gorgeous in them. It sucks that the Hard Candy products haven't been great for you, but thanks to your reviews (and a few others), now I'm glad I didn't buy anything Hard Candy.

    Actually I REALLY like the Hard Candy baked blushes in Honeymoon and Pinup.
    I also like the Mr. Wrong Nail Polish.

    I have only disliked the eye shadow duo and eyeliner.

    I was surprised by the Curl up and Die mascara, as it worked pretty well.

    That pink look amazing against your eyes! i really like this look.
    P.S. The reviews on HC makeup have not been good so far. I think I'll wait a bit and see if they are just shaking the dust off or if they've cheaped out.

    Thanks, Dave thinks that specific shade of pink/fuschia looks good with my skin :)

    My recs for Hard Candy would be the nail polish I nabbed, Mr. Wrong, and the 2 baked blushes, provided you use a kabuki with them.

    Ooooh, Druscilla's Sister is just lovely: an excellent, intensely bright pink. Definitely a color going into my ever-growing wishlist from Morgana. <3

    Curses, I just ordered a slew of lipstick samples and eyeshadow from Morgana, but Drucilla's Sister wasn't among them. (Thanks for the coupon, btw!) Your EOTDs, swatches, and descriptions have been more helpful to me than Morgana's own website… you should get a commission!

    everytime i see a dazzleglass i just die inside – i want to try them so badly but they are so overpriced in australia i cant afford too =(

    The eyes are beautiful! I really like witch's wine in the crease. I love the lips, but I'm not sure with this look. How did you like the foundation?
