Several weeks ago I received some samples from Veronica, the owner of Hi-Fi Cosmetics. I also placed an order for samples. I loved the products so much that I took advantage of the sale that she had over Black Friday/Cyber Monday and ordered several full sizes.
Hi-Fi Cosmetics is a mineral makeup store on Etsy and it is owned and run by Veronica, who is a certified makeup artist. Her skill and passion for makeup certainly show in her products.

These are the samples that Veronica sent me.

The samples that I purchased.

My Black Friday purchases.
Now that I’ve had a chance to try everything out, I wanted to put up my review
I’ve now had a chance to do several looks with her colors and I like them.

Beautiful Nightmare on the lid with Living Large haloed around the eye.

Distortion on the lid with Live by Passion on the lower lash line and Hail Caesar on the browbone.

Raindrops on Roses on the lid with Hail Caesar on the browbone.

Front Page on inner lid, Rising Tide on outer lid, Swimming through the Ashes crease, Hail Caesar on browbone mixed with Dream On.
I’ve found all of the colors easy to apply, with the exception of Rising Tide. It’s a bit tricky because it needs a sticky base to be fully appreciated. I did let Veronica know this and she said she appreciated the feedback. I think some of the colors really shine when used with Pixie Epoxy, such as Live Large.
Live Large is my FAVORITE shade by Hi-Fi. It’s an extremely vivid violet with blue iridescence. It looks AMAZING when it’s used with Pixie Epoxy. Just, simply amazing. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
It’s stated on each color that you get about a tsp of color in a 5g jar with sifter, and it also list the ingredients. So there is no question or worry about what you’re getting in your eye shadows since the ingredients are clearly labeled on each full size jar. Each eye shadow is $4.99, and sometimes there are buy 1 get 1 free sales, which is really nice.
So eye shadows are great, but she has more than that. She has Glam Rock Eye Glitz, which is glitter in a gel formula. I picked up two of the colors, Electric (a hot pink fuschia glitter) and No Need for Tears. These apply easily and the color is really nice. So far I’ve used them along my lower lash line. I applied with a thin eyeliner brush, like I use for gel eyeliner.

I also tried the Gel blush in Amore. Amore is a bright coral with golden flecks. I applied it sheerly and was pleased with the tint of color it gave me. It blended down nicely and had a fairly natural looking flush. When I layered on a bit more, it looked cool, too.
I’ve emailed back and forth with Veronica a ton, asking questions about products, about how she makes her makeup, and Veronica has always answered my emails quickly and been very forthcoming with anything I’ve inquired about.
So overall I’m left feeling good about Veronica and Hi-Fi Cosmetics:
1. Veronica has provided me with good customer service, being quick to answer my emails.
2. I feel like her products are creative and beautiful. Just look at Live Large!!!
3. I like that it seems like the full size jars are the industry standard and full of product.
4. I think $4.99 is a good price, especially when there are Buy 1 Get 1 Free deals.
5. Ingredients are listed for the full size products that I purchased.
6. Turn around time for shipping is pretty fast.
Would I order from Hi-Fi again?
Yes! I have several times, taking advantages of sales that she’s had!
Would I recommend Hi-Fi?
Absolutely! I’m very happy with my purchases and I think the colors, especially Live Large, are gorgeous!
