Kristen from Aromaleigh offered customers the chance to become Aromaleigh Angels and receive the eye shadow of their dreams, created by working with Kristen. So everyone who donated $35 and up was eligible for a custom eye shadow. Aromaleigh had over $7,400 donated from 51 donors and heled over 6600 students through this Donors Choose program. You can read more details about this at Aromaleigh’s Angels page, as well as see the larger version of the swatches.
I put together a quick little version of the eye shadow swatches so far:
My Aromaleigh eye shadow arrived today!
The color is called Phaedra, after my darling standard poodle, Phaedra.
The color inforamtion that I sent Kristen about my dream eye shadow was as follows:
I would like a dark blue-purple nearly matte shade with fuschia reflects.
The color looks gorgeous, and I swatched it here:
I really can’t wait to wear it. When I sent Kristen my information I was sort of thinking of the En Pointe Collection finish when I tried to describe it.
I was very happy to donate to the Donors Choose because I got to donate to several programs that I feel strongly about, including Yoga.
However, I’m also very excited to have an eye shadow named after Phaedra
Soon the colors from the Aromaleigh Angels collection will go on sale, and honestly I’m looking forward to trying everyone else’s colors, too.

Hello Cotton
What a gorgeous color and awwwwww…Phaedra imortalized in eye shadow, how perfect!
This is such a pretty color! It's funny that you thought of the En Pointe collection when you came up with your color; I did the same thing, and I specifically referenced the En Pointe type of finish. I think I love that type of finish so much because it was the first Aromaleigh eyeshadow that I ever tried (thanks to your recommendation).
My color, btw, is Shamrock
Very pretty and what a perfect name for such a lovely color.
Oh, it looks even prettier in your swatch! I got my color today, too!! I'm thrilled with it, and I can't wait to try everyone else's colors, either.:D
Oh those are all just so beautiful! I couldn't wait to see what everyone came up with, and I'm exicted to see so many awesome looking purples!
Love the chart. It looks like there are a lot more colors than I thought. Can't wait to see swatches of the other colors and get my mitts on them!
That color is gorgeous!
And it is funny that you and MermaidBird both referenced En Pointe for you colors because I did, too.
My color is Littleflower.
I like a LOT of the Angels colors. I think it's so cool using people's input- it came up with a lot of beautiful shades. Phaedra is one of the ones I want to try. ;]
Gorgeous colors, I need my own Phaedra too
I wanted to have my Angel-pigment too but Kristen wasn't sure is it possible for internationals and I didn't have time to find out… But I'll find so many favorites from these beuties <3
Lovely colour (purple!!!), I'm sure Phaedra the doggie will approve
I didn't have time or money to get my own Angels shade but maybe Kristen'll come up with it another time!
Phaedra is a lovely color! i love purples. i'm thinking it'd look nice as a nail polish.
Hi Evil Angel,
Thank you!
I'm wearing it today, so when I get a moment to breathe, I'll take a pic.
Hi MermaidBird,
So glad you like!
The En Point was such a sleeper collection, so many great colors that I think people overlooked, but I LOVE the finish of most of the shadows in that collection
