So, I painted my nails Sunday evening with the Orly collection. As of tonight (Tuesday Night), I only have slight chipping on the sides of my thumb nails, and the edge of my middle finger.
I’m definitely recommending doing the following with Orly Matte polishes:
1. Clean your nails really well before you put on polish.
2. Use Orly Bonder Base coat
3. Paint 2 coats of the matte polish
4. use a fast drying top coat or something long wearing on your tips
Previously when I’ve worn mattes I’ve seen chipping within 24 hours.
So for me, this seems to be a very viable combination. Next, to try it with one of my Zoya mattes
Have you been able to prolong the life of your matte polish? If so, what tricks or tips do you have? I’d love for you to share!

Hello Cotton
I'm loving these right now, particularly Iron Butterfly. I wonder how long a matte top coat will extend the life of these pretties? Have you tried that out? I have heard that works a bit.
Hi Nicole,
I have a matte top coat, but it didn't seem to significantly extend the life of the polish.
