Fantastic Lips, Evil Shades

I ended up making an awesome lip look today. I used Morgana Minerals Azalea (so glad I have a full size of this coming, my sample  is almost gone), and Dreamworld Minerals Lip gloss in Never Grapal. If you’re looking for a pigmented purple gloss (really purple, not pink or plum), this is the gloss for you. It’s not currently up on the Dreamworld site, but I’m sure it will be soon. It’s so pretty. I used it very sparsely in my look, but if you put on a good layer it will be purple, like Nyx’s Megashine gloss in Purple Rain.

This made my lips very bold, which was nice because I did sort of soft lavender and purple eyes with Evil Shades.

Nymphette is such a nice blue, I liked adding it as a pop of deep color along my lower lash line.

I spent all day today in meetings at work, which was interesting, but a bit tiring.

Phaedra’s not feeling well today, so I’m a bit worried for her. I’m hoping that it’s nothing more than her feeling a bit weird from withdrawal from the Prednisone. She’s only getting 1/2 a pill once every 3 to 4 days. She hadn’t eaten at all today, but once we
got her some canned food, she started to dig in. She’s been playful still, which is good, and very cuddly. I’ve been holding her in my lap.

She’s going to the groomers tomorrow, so she’ll be all clean and cute.

How’s everyone’s Monday been?

I can't decide if I like the lips or the eyes better! I'll be keeping Phaedra in my thoughts.

You look beautiful and the lips are just stunning! Aw, poor Phaedra. I feel like she's been sick enough and shouldn't be allowed to be sick anymore. Hope she gets to feeling better.

Oh, I LOVE Azalea. I can't wait until my Morgana order gets here, I'm sure I ordered a sample of it. Also, I need to use my Evil Shades samples more. I really love the colors, but I don't find myself reaching for them frequently.

Beautiful look! Your lips look gorgeous!:) Thanks for asking about me, I'm still blah. I have an appointment the 1st of February, so, hopefully they'll be able to figure out what's wrong with me. Whatever it is, it's making me gain weight and have issues with chronic fatigue. Again. Boo.(plus, my stupid panic disorder is giving me problems lately) *hugs* Hopefully Phaedra and I will both get feeling better soon.

You look amazing and that lip colour – gorgeous Phyrra. Not to mention the top and the lips bring out the purple in you hair. I can't dye my hair anymore as I allergic to hair dyes (didn't used to be) so I'm living vicariously through you – teehee

Purples, Purples, Purples – I loves me some purples

      Hi Thia,
      Thanks :)
You have to try Nymphette, it's lovely.

      Hi Jaimi,
      Thank you!

      Hi Lillypug,
Aww thanks, I hadn't even realized how well they worked together.

      Hi Ella,
Thank you! I really love fuschia tones with my skin, I think it really pops with it.

      Hi Amanda,
Aww thanks, I really appreciate it, and so does Phaedra.

      Hi Blix,
Thanks, me too. I am just worried.

      Hi SilhouetteScreams,
      Thanks, I really appreciate it.

      Hi Lindsey,
I'm glad you ordered Azalea :)

      Hi Saggu,
      Aww thanks!

      Hi Laura,
Thank you. I hope that you're able to find out what's wrong.
I really feel you. I have anxiety and panic attacks and I know
how debilitating they can be. Make sure they check your thyroid.

      Hi Ghost,
Thank you! Are you allergic to vegetable dyes?

      Hi Duvessa,
      Thank you!

    • http://www.blogger.com/profile/17598996233148082376 Ghost

A friend of mine mentioned in passing to try vegetable hair dye and do a patch test. But I'm a little weary because after I had my allergic reaction I became sensitive to normal shampoo and conditioner. Though that was a blessing in disguise because it made me try lush hair products and I've never looked back since.

      Thanks Phyrra

Beautiful as always :) can't wait for that amazing purple to be up on the site!

    • http://www.blogger.com/profile/02168093054712781267 Phyrra

      Hi Ghost,
Definitely give it a patch test if you have the desire to dye. I mostly use Jerome Russel Punky Color and Manic Panic colors.

      Hi Lillian,

Question, I would like to try out this look. Are TFSI and UDPP sort of interchangeable in your opinion?

    • http://www.blogger.com/profile/02168093054712781267 Phyrra

      Hi KinkyKambria,
TFSI and UDPP are not interchangable for me. UDPP creases on me. TFSI does not crease on me. I have UDPP Eden, which does not crease and gives more of a matte finish. However, if you can use UDPP and it doesn't crease on you, then it should be fine.
