So I have to say, my initial impression of Urban Decay’s Primer Potion in Eden is positive! Unlike my attempts with the original UDPP, I had very minimal creasing with Eden when worn today. I even wore it with Urban Decay shadows, to see how it was supposed to perform.

As you can see, there’s really just minimal creasing, which isn’t bad. I get less with Too Faced Shadow Insurance, but this is by far heads and tails better than UDPP ever performed on me. I’m going to keep testing Eden to see how it does for vibrancy etc, and then do a new Big Primer Comparison.
What do you think? Have you tried Eden yet?

not bad at all!
I haven't tried Eden but I'd love to. I like the idea of a primer that helps even out discolorations.
Hi Connie,
I tried this only after my friend Izzy said it was awesome, because the original UDPP creased like crazy on me. I'm firmly in the TFSI camp, but this isn't bad at all
I haven't tried Urban Decay's but I have used Laura Gellar's Eye Spackle and it's awesomeness on my oily lids. I also used it when doing my friend's and my sister's wedding make ups and they went straight to sephora to get more. I love it, if I sleep in my makeup, my eyeshadow is STILL rockin the morning. I know…horrible…but it happens.
Hi Elizabeth,
I'm really glad that so far Eden is working. I think it has to do with the fact that it seems to be a thicker consistency than the original UDPP. I'll have to look for LG's Eye Spackle to try.
I haven't tried Laura Gellar's, but I've tried several other primers, all with varying degrees of success. TFSI is my holy grail for primers though
Awesome. I'm glad it worked better for you! And I'm glad that you got to take pictures throughout the day!
I'm working on another one right now, too! Hoorah.
Hi Julissa,
Yep, it was a good way to show that it was actually working :>
I am a TFSI fan although I have basically replaced them both with my paint pots. No creasing for me and serves as a base too! Can't beat that!
Hmmmm….I may have to give it a whirl. My TFSI is still my fave, though I've recently tried Mac's paints too and love the one I got…..still choice is good right?
Is this only available from Sephora? I don't see it on the UD website, and Sephora doesn't ship to FPO/APO addresses
Hi Dominique,
As far as I know, Eden is only available for Sephora VIP members right now, but I'm sure it will be available everywhere shortly. I think sometimes Sephora gets items early.
Hi Nymphette,
TFSI is still my favorite. Paint pots dull the color a bit, unless you're using them to amplify or darken the shade, at least in my experience. I used to use MAC Bare Study for my base.
Hi Thia,
Choice is definitely good.
What does Eden look like on its own, as far as the matte and ~tawny elements go?
The original UDPP is pretty matte and seems to even out my skintone a bit, so Im interested as to the colour and mattifying effect Eden has.
Hi Silhouette,
It looks like a yellow-beige, where as UDPP original looks more creamy-beige to me.
I'll be doing another primer test soon.
