Glamour Doll Eyes – Twi-Shadow Swatches

So on Friday I received the Glamour Doll Eyes Twi-Shadows to check out and review for my blog. Since I’m feeling a bit better today, I swatched them for you. All colors were swatched on Aromaleigh Light Primer.

My favorite from the collection is Premonition. Just look at it! It’s very duochrome.

Shade Descriptions:
Big Brother (Emmett) – greyish green
Black Ice (Rosalie) – matte black with gorgeous silver shimmer
Dear Mom (Esme) – a soft pink with a bit of purple sparkle
Family Secrets (Cullens)* – a pearly white (* denotes unblended)
Just Bitten (Bella) – gorgeous shimmery burgundy with gold sparkle
Mind Reader (Edward) – matte almost-black blue with gold and silver shimmer
Moon Swing (Jasper) – greyish blue with shimmer
Premonition (Alice) – gorgeous dark greyish lavender
Skin of a Killer (Cullens) – pale pearly white with gold sparkle
The Perfect Cure (Carlisle) – medium brown with low sheen and a tiny bit of gold and green sparkle

Premonition is my favorite, as I mentioned.
I also love Black Ice, especially when it’s mixed with Pixie Epoxy.
Mood Swing is a gorgeous shade of blue-grey, and in fact it’s very close to some colors I have in my home. I like it as well.
Big Brother is a sage green that’s nice.
Just Bitten is a nice metallic shade.
Mind Reader was a bit difficult to swatch and get it to show up properly, but it may be easy to work with once I try it with Pixie Epoxy.
Dear Mom is a nice pink.
The Perfect Cure is a milk chocolate brown shade and with the sparkle in it I think a lot of people who like brown will like it.
Skin of a Killer is a nice highlighter.
Family Secrets is a pearly white shade, similar to Skin of a Killer though I like SoaK better.

You can see Black Ice on the lid in this look, as well as Skin of a Killer on the browbone.

Hope you like the swatches :)

Dammit, Just Bitten, The Perfect Cure and Premonition look so pretty swatched, why do they have to be Twilight related >_<

Just think of them as being vampire related instead of twi-related.

Now that I see these swatched, I actually really like Skin of a Killer, Premonition, and Mind Reader. Thanks!

You're quite welcome! Swatching really shows the depth of colors. I usually do this even when I don't like how a color looks in the bag/container, because sometimes I'm surprised by the results.

Yea I know what you mean. That happened to me with Aromaleigh's Rock! Sonic e/s in Dominion. I thought it would be a plain boring navy, but my-oh-my was I shocked when I swatched it! Now I'm waiting on my full size one to get here :)

You know, yo should try Destination Unknown from the rocks, too! That one surprised me as well.
