You Asked, High Voltage Listened!

When I recently reviewed the mineral makeup company High Voltage Cosmetics, many of you commented on how you didn’t find the site design appealing. So Jasmine, the owner, took the feedback to heart and redesigned the site.

There are navigation bars all along the left side and the top of the site now.

She also organized colors by shades.

What do you think? I really like the changes :)

      GREAT! :D

I was just looking at this… I was sure I'd been on the High Voltage website before but had no memory of it looking anything like that! It looks great :)

This really impresses me. I've heard so many stories of companies taking constructive criticism and freaking out or ignoring it entirely. We see on every “Contact” section of every shop that they want our feedback, but how often are our cumulative nitpicks considered? I've known of very few instances. Little things like this make me feel confident that I'm spending my money on something worth supporting :) Speaking of instances, Phyrra, would you find it terribly creepy if I asked what WoW server you play on? I promise not to ninja yer loot. Just curious!

    • Phyrra

I think so, too! It's much easier to navigate.

    • Phyrra

I'm sure Jasmine will be happy to hear it :)

    • Phyrra

      I primarily play on Silverhand Alliance side. I've got 3 80s, a 75, 72, etc. I raid on my warlock. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Si

    • @triner

Wow! Great re-design! Very impressed with it and especially with how quickly Jasmine changed it up! Thanks for passing on the comments and for letting us know just how responsive to feedback Jasmine and High Voltage are. :)

I used to be a hardcore raider, but I quit the game around the time ToC came out… *stares jealously at gear* though I recently picked it up again to level some new toons with a friend. You're in my battlegroup, actually. I'm Kil'Jaeden, though Horde :3

    • Phyrra

I didn't start raiding until TBC. I've been raiding on and off since. Silver Hand is special because of the Leftovers raiding system, which I adore. http://leftoversraiding.org/

    • Phyrra

Me too! I was very impressed :)

    • Teaspoon

That's actually really cool. Unfortunately everyone on KJ is pretty elitist, so I don't think that sort of thing could start over here, which is a shame. I do love the server though. Battlegroup too, when I actually decide to pvp, because Horde and Alliance are nicely balanced.

    • Phyrra

I'm worried that when Cat comes out, and the changes that they're planning to guilds, that it will Kill the Left Overs system. I don't mind PVP'ing on my healy Pally when Dave is playing his Warrior. He and I can run the flag nonstop in WSG and win. When I'm on m lock, I always tend to lose in there.

Being a clothy is hard in pvp. The only 80 I have pvp gear for is my priest, so I hear the hurt. Healbotting is fun though, as long as I go with someone I know won't run in the wrong direction or something. :p I haven't heard anything about guild changes for Cataclysm, but I've been out of the end-game scene for around half a year. All I've really heard is that they're gonna blow up Azeroth and add Worgen and Goblins. How might it screw with Leftovers?

    • Phyrra

I think with the way guilds are supposed to be able to unlock achievements, etc, it will mean the end of Leftovers.

    • Teaspoon

:/ Hope it keeps going strong.

    • Phyrra

I think it will have to end, because they want to encourage people to stay in guilds and level up guilds, etc. So you're only going to want to raid within a guild. Which sucks, because most don't raid when I want to raid, so who knows what I'll end up doing. Paying to transfer all my characters and all my partners characters to other services is cost prohibitive, too.

    • Teaspoon

Ack. I don't like the sound of that. One of the reasons I like the server I'm on is because PUGs are usually pretty high quality, but it looks like that's in trouble too. Hopefully your Leftovers will be able to work around it, like have it be a big guild for alts or something. $25 per character is a lot to pay for a transfer… :(

    • Phyrra

      Yeah :(
