Beautiful Girl Minerals – A Review

Beautiful Girl Minerals is a company that I adore and they’re currently in the process of reformulating their eye shadows, so while I know I’ll be doing another review once their reformulating is done, I wanted to get this one out, too.

Eye Shadows
BGM has a large selection of eye shadow shades and finishes, ranging from matte to sparkly, soft to bright.

Impatient, Devious, Wicked, Pretty

Pricing is quite reasonable and competitive with other mineral makeup companies:
$.50 1/8 samples
$4 for 1.5g refill bag
$4.50 for 5g sifter jar
$6.50 for 10g sifter jar

I like both the mattes and shimmer textures, and they’re both pretty easy to work with. BGM has a lot of purple shades, and a lot of matte shades, which is nice, especially when you want to mix up textures for your looks. Most of the colors have shade descriptions. I’ve noticed that the longer BGM has been in business, the brighter/deeper the colors are becoming, which is cool.

Hush, Rave, Crush, Bewitched

Enchanted, Diva, Devious, Pretty

Twilight Collection: Twilight, Eclipse, New Moon, Breaking Dawn

Daring in crease, outer v and lower lash line

Exquisite in the crease, outer v and outer lower lash line, Delicate to highlight

Lip Glosses
BGM makes some nice natural lipglosses. In fact, Gina, the owner, even made two shades at my request! The shades Wicked Kiss and Summer Kisses were two I had requested. The gloss is sticky, but has reasonable wear, so if you like glosses you should give them a try. They do come in a range of shades.

Pricing for the glosses:
$3 for a small 3.5 ml wand
$4.50 for a medium 5.9 ml wand
$6 for a large 7.5 ml wand

Indelible Gel Eyeliners & Indelible Creme Eye Shadows
While these are private label items (meaning that BGM does not make them), they do sell them for reasonable prices on their website.

Pricing:
$7 each

These creme shadows make good eye shadow bases and you know I love the gel eyeliners. Black Out & Peacock are my favorite liner colors.

Customer Service
I’ve always received good customer service from BGM. I’ve placed several orders, as well as been sent products to test out and give feedback on. I’ve always had my emails answered in a timely fashion.

Would I order from Beautiful Girl Minerals?
Yes, I would order from them again :) I’ve ordered several times. They do offer a variety of products, and they are currently in the process of reformulating their shadows and creating brighter colors, which is cool. They also offer a lot of matte shadows with good texture, which can be hard to find.
