Mordred’s Concubine

I haven’t done a red look in a while, so I decided to try Agincourt & Concubine together. They’re pretty amazing. Instead of reaching for a black for my crease, I decided to give Mordred a try. I’m really pleased with the results.

1. Apply your eye shadow primer.

Ooo, I like these colors~ The red looks lovely, Mordred pairs with it very well too. The lipstick looks really awsome too ;o It's a really nice metallic red.

KICK. ASS.! It reminds me of like a “dark christmas” type look. Not like regular red and green christmas, but my kind of christmas! (white tree, black ornaments, super kick ass all around :D I like it!

Goddamn that looks stunning! I am falling in love with burgundy/garnet eyeshadow these days, and this look is so hitting the spot for me. I can't wait until my Medieval samples arrive! And by the way Metallic Maiden is my favorite Morgana lipstick – and you wear it wonderfully.

Ok I seriously need these colours…. but I'm make-up retarded. Do I need that huge list of things you used? D:

Is there red on the waterline? If not, I think that would be pretty cool. This look is BEAUTIFUL though. I'm really loving red looks right now.

Argh I love this, you've created some serious lemmings there. I've still not tried Morgana yet, thinking I must place an order soon. Gorgeous!

Gorgeous! Love this look! Mordred looks boring in the baggy I have, but when applied it's sooo lovely! Metallic Maiden looks quite different on you than it does on me. But maybe it's just the pics or we apply it differently. It turns our more RED on me.

Wow, that is so freakin' cool! Looks really gorgeous on you and is applied perfectly. And thanks for the step by step even though there is no way I culd EVER get my application like yours. :)

Stunningly unique! I seriously think this is my new favorite look from you. <3

  14. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:41 pm #

Thank you! I've never really done a deep bronzed shade like this in the crease and it's a nice change from black. Mordred is a really unique color. I have nothing else like it in my collection.

  15. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:41 pm #

    Thanks!

  16. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:41 pm #

    Yeah, it's really cool.

  17. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:41 pm #

Hehe! I like your type of Christmas!

  18. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:41 pm #

    Aww thanks!

  19. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:42 pm #

Thank you! I think it's a highly underrated color. I really love how it looks. You can tell I didn't apply it heavily here, but the way the pinkish-red worked, it just seemed perfect with the eyes without being overpowering.

  20. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:43 pm #

LOL! Ok, you could probably get away with Concubine on the lid, Mordred in the crease, your favorite flesh highlighter, and a brown or black liner. If you skip the liner, really play up your lashes with mascara or falsies. Does that help a bit?

  21. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:43 pm #

I would love to see it on ya :)

  22. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:44 pm #

No red on the waterline! Just that charcoal brown Lava Chocolate liner ;) This would look fantastic on you!

  23. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:44 pm #

    Thank you!

  24. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:45 pm #

I applied Metallic Maiden very lightly, blotting and using a lip brush. I didn't want it to compete with my eyes. So it's probably the application method. And yeah, Mordred in the bag is blah, but OMG AWESOME on the skin!

  25. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:45 pm #

Aww thank you! I'm glad the step by step can be helpful. I promise, with practice, you'll get there :)

  26. Phyrra May 20, 2010 at 10:45 pm #

    Why thank you!

  27. Invicta May 25, 2010 at 6:27 pm #

I've never seen an eye look that combines red and brown but it looks wonderful (and unique, of course)!

    Thank you!
