Today I wanted to wear the Lilac for Alzheimers. I’d been planning on wearing Morgana’s Winifred for weeks, but I wasn’t sure what I’d wear with it. Once I saw Apocalypse Pansy I knew that’s what would be perfect for this look. I also threw in Gaslight Tears for good measure.

Hello Cotton
Bless you, darlin'. You look gorgeous. I wore AL Lilac, Hydrangea, Lilith and Slyph today. And my towel. Any my lilac. And a lilac hair barette. And my lilac necklace. I was thinking of making a beaded hair fascinator for next year. $800 was raised for this year's donations. I am so amazed and grateful.
You look fantastic. I love the colors, and the cause is close to home for me. My great-grandma is now 93 years old and has suffered from Alzheimer's for as long as I had remembered. Had I known about this Lilac business sooner, I'd have joined in and gotten a few pins to wear.
Don't worry, you still can. This has been an ongoing labor of love for me since 2008. I'll make the 2010 donations tonight, but there will be 2011 donations to be sure.
WIsh I had found out about that earlier, I have a grandpa with Alzheimers and I know how horrible this disease is. ALso, you look amazing in lilac!
Looks fantastic. Is it ironic that I forgot today was Wear Lilac for Alzheimer's day?
Don't worry. Wear the Lilac for Alzheimer's 2011 started about twenty-five minutes ago where I sit.
I like this! I was thinking about trying a combination of Odile and Lisianthus with something like maybe Cupid on the browbone.
I love the look! And you're rocking the lilacs on your awesome bosom (sorry, couldn't help it!)
You look lovely as always.
Beautiful Look!
This is very pretty!
Why is it that when I click the links on your blog I just get a new tab popping up that's blank, but the url says socialspark? I use Chrome. It is sort of annoying to not be able to click your links on the first try, because I really want to read your blog, but sometimes I just give up. Help?
Which links are you having trouble with? I use Firefox, but I have Chrome so if you can tell me which links I can try it out. Everything is currently working with Firefox, IE and Safari.
Yay! That's awesome! *big hug*
Thank you
Lol! No worries!
That sounds beautiful!
Haha, thanks!
Thank you :>
Thanks!
Thanks so much!
I've tried Google Chrome. I've clicked on the Link Within, links in the sidebar, links in posts, etc. All are going to the correct pages. Where are you clicking that it's going to social spark? That doesn't sound right?
Beautiful look. I love it.
Aww thank you
Damn, I totally forgot to wear lilac
Aww, it's ok
It seems to be random what links that doesn't work, I've tried links to other blogs or sites, internal links, tags and so on. Once I just clicked on the background of your blog and the socialspark popped up. I can't find a connection. Some days it works all good. Today I've only had two or three socialspark-tabs popping up. When I first posted I had to try about thirty times to get it right. I don't understand. And its only a blank page that pops up by the way, sometimes in addition to the correct site, sometimes not. This page: http://itk.socialspark.com/success.html
Ok, weird.Hrm. I just tried looking at the source code for my page and I can't find anything with that link in it. I'll try and research it some more. Thanks for the info!
Weird indeed. Thank you for looking into it. Your blog is awesome, I will keep reading it even if there is no solution to the problem
try getting to the main Symantec or McAffee page from Google. If you can't, you may have a trojan on your computer that's causing the issue.
No trouble getting to those pages. Hmmm.. I'll do a virus scan anyways.
It seems like it's a weird issue only some bloggers are experiencing. I'm in the progress of migrating my blog, so that may fix the issue once it's done.
