More Nail Polish Swatches

This time I swatched several different brands of nail polish for you. Milani, Sally Hansen, Hard Candy, Piggy Polish, Essie, Rimmel, L.A. Girl and Rescue Beauty Lounge are in this set. This is a very picture intensive post.

7 Sally Hansen Opulent Cloud – silver-grey with gold reflects
8 Hard Candy Mr. Wrong – silver grey with gold reflects and sparkles
9 Piggy Polish Beach Break – red-fuchsia with multi-colored sparkle
10 Piggy Polish Blue-ty Call – duochrome cornflower blue with violet reflect
11 Piggy Polish All That Glitters – a rose-gold duochrome shade
12 Essie HuckleBuckle – violet with blue reflect
13 Essie Steel-ing the Scene – brushed silver metal
14 Essie Sag Harbor – pale blue with silver shimmer
15 Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie – purple with green shimmer
16 Sally Hansen Nail Prism Burgundy Orchid – reddish-purple with blue-violet reflect
17 Rimmel Night Before blue-based purple with reddish purple shimmer
18 Rimmel Violet Metal – reddish purple with blue-violet reflect
19 L.a. Girl Head Banging – green-based sparkly teal
20 L.A. Girl Punk – peacock feather in a bottle, blue with aqua, violet, green and silver sparkles

One thing I noticed is that Rimmel Violet Metal is very similar to Sally Hansen’s discontinued Nail Prism in Burgundy Orchid. Not exact, but definitely close.

Also, most of my Sally Hansen polishes seemed thinner than everything else. I did 3 coats of all the Sally Hansen, but two coats of everything else. The only exception is the Nail Prism Burgundy Orchid, which was fairly opaque.
