Today when I came home I was happy to find a package from Fyrinnae! I’d placed an order not too long ago for the new lip colors.
They all look so pretty! However, Beloved completely captivated my attention in the container.
Once on the skin, I was really wowed by Beloved. I can’t wait to wear it. I really like all the Reflective Sparkle and Color Changing lustres from Fyrinnae. With these colors in particular, you can really see the red and blue sparkles. Gorgeous!
I’m consistently impressed with the colors from Fyrinnae, and these are no different.
Sugar-Coated Revenge – Deep plum-hued purple, enhanced with tiny reflective sparkle (not gritty glitter!). The sparkles are varying hues of blue and purple, changing to pink/orange in some lighting, making this a multi-dimensional shade.
Beloved – Semi-sheer mauve-pink enhanced with tiny reflective sparkle
Backstage Kisses – Light, yet vibrant peach enhanced with tiny reflective sparkles
Reincarnation – Sheer red enhanced with tiny reflective sparkles
Futuristic Glamrock - a light sky blue, sparkling with a hint of coordinating hues. Bring it closer to light or change the angle in some cases, and it turns to icy pink.
Kyoto – Pale sky blue that looks like glittery aqua-blue foil when applied wet
Evocation – taupe, not gold. Gentle, slightly shimmery taupe with a highlight that changes from a pale blue-green to soft rose/coral.

Ok, your swatches are making Evocation look really appealing! I don’t even remember seeing it on the website but it looks like these swatches are showing off some serious minty and pink shimmer! I love neutrals with a twist.
I’m also eying up Faerie Glamour. I *might* be able to resist because I have so much purple eyeshadow I think I’d be able to paint my entire body purple.
I need to place an order sometime soon because I spilled my mini jar of Glitterboi all over my hands and sink… days after spilling 1/4 of my Nijiro.
I think Evocation is from Dec 2009. It seems to be a neutral with a twist

This post finally pushed me over the edge! I’ve been meaning to pick up some full sized Lip Lustre’s and these new colors are just way too tempting!
I ended up getting full sizes of Reincarnation (I LOVE reds and this looks wonderful!), Type A, Sugar-Coated Revenge, Whee!, Pierced (this color is so lovely and unique, a gunmetal grey), Diabolique Masquerade (I think it is my favorite Lustre), and Backstage Kisses. Minis of Puppy Love and Romantique!
So excited!!!

Their Lustres always look so glossy on you because you live in Florida. I have to warm mine in my cleavage or else they don’t go on very well, since they have so much buttery goodness in them!! They tend to cool off here in Seattle. I still love them and adore them and will keep buying them as long as I have money to spend.
I’m thinking I will pick up Backstage Kisses, Beloved and Reincarnation. Thanks for the awesome swatches!

I have the same problem here in Oregon, though I stick them between my thighs until I’m done with my makeup, so that they warm up, and de-solidify a bit. xD

Fyrinnae makes me so happy! I actually had a pretty big order I was getting ready to place, and forgot that the cart times out in 45 min

I’m really hooked on the Lip Lustres since I’ve tried them. So far I only have Ultra Phantom and Acidic Cherry but I lust after more
I really love them! I’m not sure if you’re into pinks but I really love Lollipop-Pop, Trickster and Puppy Love. Visual Kei is pretty awesome, too. And Shangri-La is great.
I really love Ryunome but it’s turquoise.
Beloved looks gorgeous! Can’t wait to see what you use it with.

Do you know if Sugar Coated revenge is similar Shibuya which is my fav. I find I get the most amazing colors from mixing lip lustres.

I’ll dig out my Shibuya sample and see. I think I had problems making Shibuya look good on me, but that may have been the old formula. I did play with Sugar coated Revenge this evening and it looked good.
I’m loving Beloved, it look like such a gorgeous, multi-faceted color.
Also, only slightly off-topic, have you tried emailing Fyrinnae lately? In the past I’ve gotten really quick responses, but I sent one a few weeks ago, but never got an answer, so I re-sent the same question today.
They normally do answer really fast. I think they’re swamped right now with moving to a different host and some other things. I’m sure they will get to the emails as fast as they can. I’m kinda worried about them!

Hehe! I’m an enabler! The lip lustres I totally recommend. They replaced MAC Lipglasses as my favorite daily lip wear. Trickster, Puppy Love, Ryunome, etc all <3
