Recently I had the opportunity to try several different products from Cliche Cosmetics.

Cliche Cosmetics offers several different products:

Eye shadows – $6.50 (small pan)
Blush, Bronzer, Highlighter – $7.00 (medium size pan)
Lipsticks, Lipbalms – $7.00 (medium size pan)
Mineral Foundation – $16.00 (large size pan)
Brow Definer – $6.50 – (small size pan)
They have a wysiwyg approach to cosmetics. Their pans are magnetized and their palettes as well. It’s nice because nothing slides around. The foundation and lipsticks have a very limited color range, but the blush and eye shadow ranges are nice.
They have a wide variety of palettes for their cosmetics as well. They sent me a freestyle palette ($16.00), which I really like as it fits my style very nicely.
They also seem to have a variety of other products, some of which may be private label.

Pink – matte bright pink
Rage – midtone light brown with lightly frosted finish
Witchcraft – deep black with light sparkles
Pink Poodle – matte nude pink
Their foundations come in 3 shades: light, medium and dark. I think that 3 is way too limiting considering the wide range of skintones. While I didn’t receive a foundation to try, I would imagine that the light shade would still be too dark for me.
The brow definers – aka brow powder – come in 4 shades: blonde, auburn, brunette and dark. They likely would work for most people.
Their lip products come in 3 lipstick shades – nude red, red and darkred. The tinted lip balm comes in juicy (which appeares to be a pink). I’m not sure that these colors would all work for everyone, but I’m sure that at least one shade might work for everyone.
There are 8 blush shades, 1 matte bronzer and 1 highlighter. I think that everyone is likely to find 1 blush shade, at least, that works for them. I chose Pink Poodle, which is a matte nude pink. I absolutely love it. I think it’s an extremely flattering shade on me.
There’s a large variety of eye shadows. The pigmentation in the three that I received was great. Of course, the one problem I noticed with the color Pink (matte bright pink) was that it did stain my eyelids after use. That said, it is a gorgeous color. The shadows applied easily and blended well. With the wide variety of colors I’m sure anyone could find a few shades they liked. Additionally, the colors lasted all day with my eye shadow primer. I feel that the colors I tried are good quality.

Cliche says that their products are made in the USA and touts that their products are used by stars and models, specifically the So You Think You can Dance people, and that they’re offered at reasonable prices. They also state they’re cruelty free, which is cool.
I do think that the eye shadow swatches on their website are pretty terrible. I really have trouble telling whether or not I’ll like some of the colors. I do hope at some point someone swatches all of them online.
I don’t like the fact that the site only offers checkout through Google Checkout. I prefer PayPal and I really don’t want the hassle of having to use Google Checkout.
Overall, I like the quality of Cliche Cosmetics. I REALLY like the Pink Poodle blush. I think the eye shadows are nicely pigmented and easy to work with.
Would I order from them?
Yes! I plan on trying one of their brow powders, and I am curious about their HD (presumable high definition) line of shadows.

I was looking at the site a week or two ago, and I like their large, empty palette (28 spots). I asked and it does hold the standard 26 mm pan. Not bad for $16.00. Does your palette have their name stamped on the outside?
I don’t remember seeing their name stamped on it, to be honest.
