As a kid, I remember watching the Smurfs. I also remember my friends who couldn’t watch the Smurfs because the show had magic in it, and their parents felt like Magic was evil. While I don’t think Magic is evil, I had complete and utter makeup fail today. Let me recount the ways. I’ve wanted to wear Fyrinnae’s Dark Magic, and I just could never figure out how to wear it. I asked the lovely Fyrinnae_2nd what he recommended and he said a silvery-blue. So I used Urban Decay’s matte shade, Narcotic, on my lid, and then put Aromaleigh’s Puffo on top of that. I think I should have skipped Narcotic on the lid and just used Puffo. then, I thought about using MAC’s Plum Dressing for my brows, since it’s softer and pinker than I’ve been doing lately. Instead I just grabbed Poison Plum again, and it’s definitely too bright for this look. I also messed up on my brow on one side. Arg.

Anyway, here’s my catastrophe.
