Bfte Cosmetics – The Wizard of Oz Collection

Crystal from BftE Cosmetics sent me a sneak peek of her upcoming collection, the Wizard of Oz-Some.

My Pretty is a deep, glittery green. This color will work best with a sticky base.
Emerald City is a gorgeous sparkly green. When I first swatched this color, it took my breath away.
Yellow Brick Road is a matte light but bright yellow.
Ruby Slippers is a deep, glittery red that has an orange base.
Courage is a sparkly orange-copper shade.
If I Only Had a Brain is a metallic gold.
Have a Heart is a medium gunmetal metallic shade.
Twister is a black shimmery shade.
No Place Like Home is a gorgeous medium sparkly blue shade.
Lollipop Kid is a gorgeous magenta-pink-purple shade.
Good Witch is a sugary sweet light sparkly pink shade.
? (named Way Up High) – this is a white nearly matte shade

I love that Crystal came up with such a pretty and unique collection! It’s the only Wizard of Oz makeup collection I know of (though I do know that there are the China Glaze nail polishes), so I think that’s really cool.

My Favorites are:
Emerald City, My Pretty, Lollipop Kid, Good Witch

Emerald City really took my breath away with its beauty.

What do you think of this collection?

Emerald City and Courage look so pretty! Usually when I see brights, I immediately link them to TKB ‘Pops’ (even if they’ve been mixed with other micas), and I’m happy to see that I can’t with this bunch. What a lovely collection :)

      • Phyrra

No, they’re definitely not easy to match with TKB. I think Crystal does a lovely job blending her collections, Lily!

I love Emerald City and Good Witch. Good Witch actually reminds me of the China Glaze Wizard of Oz polish, I forgot its name.

Emerald City, definitely. And also Courage. Man, I love the way orange looks in swatch, but I have such a hard time with it on my eye. Maybe I don’t have the coloring for it. I keep trying though.

      Good Witch too.

      • Phyrra

Yay I’m glad you like Emerald City as much as I do!
