I played with blues and teals today, favorites from Sugarpill, Fyrinnae and Evil Shades. I also tried a different technique with my eyebrows, thanks to Ana suggesting that I try something that Petrilude did in a video. I used Urban Decay’s 24/7 liner in Zero lightly to define my brows and then used an angled eye shadow brush to sort of soften the edges. I actually think the black looks pretty natural.
I really love how my lips turned out.
I took a couple pix of the back of my hair. Now that it’s dyed, it looks blue-black, the way it should look.

I also got some fun things recently.
First, Kim from OverallBeauty sent me some lash primer, mascara and eye shadows to try out, in addition to some nail wheels. I LOVE nail wheels
Next, I received a small order that I’d placed with Suds n’ Sass.
It was for wax breakaway tarts in Cuddley Blue Poodle & Into the Woods, Pumpkin Sass shower stuff, Night Elf Eye Shadow and Get UR Freak on Eye Shadow. She also sent me a Creamy Pumpkin tart and a tiny Honey (I think) soap sample. And of course, an adorable halloween card.
I received a bracelet from Krista to try out that she and her husband made. It’s made of leather with handset rivets.
The palette is in pretty good shape, aside from Bulletproof being cracked in a few places and a small chip in Tako.
Also, after asking you all for help, researching online, and discussing with Ray and Dave, I decided to get the Remington flat iron with the automatic shut off. I also spoke the the sales lady at Ulta, after I’d looked at all the flat irons there (she was pushing Chi). I also picked up a matte ink blue pencil by Smashbox and some spray wax (though they were out of the spray wax my stylist recommended.
Anyway, for a monday, this has been a fairly good day. It’s been nice to start the week without a crisis.
How about you? How are you?
