Recently I was sent some DuWop products for review purposes. As I’d never tried DuWop, I wasn’t really sure what to expect of the products. I found myself pleasantly surprised by them!

I totally fell in love with the Blushbooster in Watermelon. It’s a shimmering pink that works perfectly with my complexion.

I’ve been wearing Watermelon almost non-stop since I first tried it. The blushbooster is supposed to be a nourshing blush enhancer that can be worn alone or layered over any other blush. It contains pomegranate extract, Vitamins A & E, nourishing antioxidants, jooba oil and cucumber extract. I LOVE the glow it imparts to my cheeks. I think this would be a lovely blush on paler complexions and I’m betting it would add a nice luminous glow to darker ones. I really like the blush. The blush lasted 10 hours on my cheeks! That’s pretty awesome!
I’m not quite as fond of the Venom Gloss. It’s described as a vibrant color with a wicked tingle. I do like the tingle, I’m not sure how much it plumps my lips.

Tulip on my lips and Watermelon on my cheeks.
Tulip is a sheer clear red that gives just a hint of color to my lips for a very natural look. While I think I don’t really like the color Tulip as much, because it looks so natural, I do like the formula of the gloss. I just don’t think that the color looks vibrant. So if you’re wanting a natural looking red gloss, this is definitely it.
I was also sent a Green Eyes Tonal Palette. The colors are pretty and pigmented. I like that all the colors in the palette coordinate, and I think the green liner looks gorgeous.

The eye shadows are pretty buttery smooth when I applied them. While initially I didn’t think that 1 and 3 looked too different on my hand, once on my eye they really did. The colors coordinate together perfectly for the look that I did with them.

I really love the DuWop blush and wholeheartedly recommend it. It’s worth checking out.
The glosses, I think they’re worth checking out if you like the shades offered, as the texture is good.
While I like how the palette coordinates, the shadows don’t seem like something too special, and it seems like you get a very small amount of product for the price.
Have you tried DuWop? If so, do you like it?

Hello Cotton
I can’t see the pictures. It seems they are broken.
Now they works, how strange. I agree that Watermelon is something special!
Thank you! I really like it!
I tried the lip venom stuff a loooooong time ago and really liked it. It feels really weird on your lips haha but in a good way. I just clear with a bit of gold glitter. I actually still use it from time to time..but I’m with you, I don’t really think it plumps my lips very much.

Thank you Stavroula!
I reviewed DuWop Lash Venom for my blog back in November last year:
“DuWop – Lash Venom
Lengthens, separates, no clumping. Not super volumizing, but okay. Smudges like a beyotch! Not at all water resistant.”
I think I liked it okay, but it was not top of my list, especially for the price. I get better results with L’Oreal Voluminous for $7

I’ve gone back and forth with mascaras. For a long time I only used MAC, then I used Rimmel, then I went to Benefit, and now I’m using Flirt & Cover Girl Lash Blast. It’s strange to see a product meant for eyes with the name venom in the title!
My fave fave favorite, is Buxom by Bare Escentuals. I just can’t afford to keep up the habit with everything else I love (Benefit PosieTint is another). I’m using Covergirl Professional because I got a coupon through BzzAgent for it, but I want to try lashblast. I keep hoping I’ll get called in to do a campaign for it.
For drug store stuff though, Voluminous is where it is at!

Lashblast is nice, I think
Definitely worth trying.
I have the Venom gloss too. I don’t care for it. But I do want to try the Watermelon Blush and those tonal green shades.

I bet the Watermelon would be fab on you!
I like the Tulip gloss on you because it is a natural look. I also like the green shadow palette – very nicely matched colors!
Thanks Marcey!
I’ve never tried DuWop, but I love the blush on you.

Thank you Aubrey!
i love venom, i have several different colors and the twilight themed stain which is my favorite lip product ever. The tingle is addictive
I’ll have to see if I can find a swatch of the Twilight one. Sounds great!
I think the lipgloss is really pretty, though if it tingles but doesn’t really plump that’s a bit useless

I think it’s pretty, but I can’t really tell if it made my lips look bigger.
