Evil Shades LE Halloween 2010 – Swatches & Review

Recently I begged Andrea of Evil Shades to let me purchase Witching & Eerie from her Halloween LE collection. Since I’m obsessed with aquas/teals, I just had to have Witching after reading its description of of it being a pearled aqua with fuchsia sparks. As a surprise, Andrea sent me the other 4 colors in the collection, which was extremely sweet of her!

The color descriptions are:
Eerie- An luminous white with a ghostly blue shift sparkled with orbs of pink and aqua
Raven’s Song- A shadowy black base with screams of hot pink sparkles
Samhain- A grave metallic purple pearl
Witching- A grim pearled aqua with a seducing pink shift and deadly fuschia sparkle
All Hallows Night- Demonicly metallic red wine with hair raising orange/copper shift
Other Worldly- A pumpkin orange with juicy pink shift, worthy of Jacks lantern

Witching really is a gorgeous pearled pigmented aqua shade. I can see a hint of fuchsia sparkle in it, making it a really lovely color.

Eerie is an awesome highlighter shade! It was impossible to capture both the blue and aqua sparks on camera, but you can see them slightly in the image above.

Raven’s Song looks so different in the container than it does on the skin! The pink-purple sparkles really come out when you apply the color.

Samhain is a gorgeous, slightly greyed metallic purple shade.

Other Wordly is a really nice rich orange shade with a slight pink iridescent. I think it’s one of the prettiest oranges I’ve ever seen. I tend to not like orange on my eyes as much as on my lips, so it’s nice when one makes me go ‘ooooooh!’

All Hallow’s Night is a fantastic metallic wine shade. This one is perfect for fall and winter!

My favorites from this collection are Witching, Eerie and All Hallow’s Night. Overall, I love these colors and I’m especially happy with the two I purchased.

Did you try Evil Shades Halloween LE collection? If so, what are your favorite colors?

Got mine today and they’re gorgeous. Raven’s Song is OMG beautiful – I can’t wait to use it. It reminds me of a string of those fuschia/purple Halloween lights in the dark.
