I copied your idea a while back of putting decorator sand in a vase. I found mine at the dollar store it’s a cute round one, a lot smaller than what you have but then I don’t yet have nearly as many brushes as you!

  Yay! I still think it’s a great design, which is why that vase and purple sand is currently decorating the top of my tv

I use flowerpots with pasta (macaroni) to stick my brushes in, works like a charm! (and i’m never out of food lol)

I don't have any special way to organize my brushes, but not so long ago I made myself a brush holder because I couldn't find what I like, and you can see it here – http://www.beautyaddict.net/diy-brush-holder/

I love your videos…have you ever done a tutorial on cleaning brushes and what to use and what not to use and why? That would be so helpful for me as I probably do it very poorly.

Hey cheers for the tips, I didn’t know that you’re supposed to store make up brushes a certain way, I’ll definatley store them that way from now on!

I’ve wanted to try the vase + decorating sand thingie for a long time, but I always forget about it when I’m shopping. I’m just using a glass for storing my brushes.

I have only around 20 brushes as I’m relatively new to the whole eyeshadow & powder obsession. I used to use only liquid liner, mascara, and liquid foundation, so I didn’t really need brushes. Now I can get my makeup done but I always seem to long for more brushes. I hope I’ll hoard them in time, hehe.

And yeah.. your voice seems to be perfect for tutorial videos. I love it!

  You can even buy tumblers from bathroom sets if you don’t need a lot of room if you see one in a print you like

I only use, seriously, maybe a dozen different brushes. Probably less.

  I’m a bit of a brush ho. If I like a style of brush I keep buying back ups. I think the majority of my brushes now are ecoTools.

Oh my Jonas, Your hair looks SOOOOOOO good!! All shiny & swingy & lush…..I am so jealous!!!
Oh, and thank you for the tips. I love the holder you showed last that swivels. I’m thinking I need one of those cuz I have as many brushes as you do.

  Aww thanks! Yeah I like the swivel. I wish that the lip came up a bit higher on the very lower outer sides, but the inner ones work PERFECTLY!

Great vid! Love putting little silver metal balls (like the Sephora ones) in a glass mason jar. Keeps them nice and in place!
