Recently my friend G of Nouveau Cheap issued me a challenge of use one eye shadow color for my eyes, cheeks and lips. After thinking about it, I realized I needed a vegan color. I decided on Violetta from Suds n’ Sass, since it’s safe for eyes, cheeks, lips and nails.
Overall, I think it turned out pretty well, though I sucked at getting the lips to look just right. I do think that Violetta would make a great lipstick or lipgloss. As far as getting contrast on the eyes, I used Stila’s smudge pot in Cobalt Clutch for the outer lid, outer v and crease.
Like I said, I didn’t mix this the right way. I realized afterwards I probably should have mixed the powder directly into the gloss. Instead, I put a clear gloss on my lips and then took a lip brush and brushed the color on, so it was hard to get it even.

MAC Vapour – on browbone to highlight and inner corners of eye

L’Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base
Meow Purrfect Puss foundation in Inquisitive Siamese (not my normal foundation but still nice)
Lips:
Too Faced Borderline Lipliner in Clear
Medusa’s Makeup lipgloss in Clear
Suds n’ Sass Violetta – applied on top of the clear gloss with a lip brush

I’m glad you like how it turned out! Like I said, I kinda struggled with the lips but the shade Violetta turns when wet is a really great lip color.
