Almost a year ago this month, Elizabeth of Suds n’ Sass (Affiliate link) asked for scent suggestions for house blends for her company. I suggested a warm vanilla, blueberry and coconut. She loved it and asked me to name it. It turned into the house blend, Cuddly Blue Poodle, in honor of Phaedra.
So about a year ago I received my whipped body butter that I purchased from Suds n’ Sass. I’ve used it on and off in my rotation of body moisturizers.
As far as body butters go, I think it’s pretty nice. A little goes a long way when you apply it to your skin and it helps to lock in moisture after a bath or shower. I love the Cuddly Blue Poodle scent and it seems to linger on me for at least an hour. I like that my skin gets moisturized and soft without feeling really greasy, you just have to let it sink in.
I can’t find this listed on the SnS site anymore, but the ingredients listed on the side are:
Glycine Soja (Soybean oil), Glycerin, water, steric acid, emulsifying wax, tocopherol acetate (Vit E), cyclamethicone, fragrance, phenoxyethanol, capryl Glycol.
I think this has actually been discontinued and replaced with the newer Body Frosting. So while I can’t purchase this exact product again, I want to try either Body Frosting or Body Glaze. Right now, I’m leaning towards the body glaze since it’s got olive, soy and sweet almond oils in it.
Have you tried any of Suds n’ Sass’s Moisturizers? If so, did you like them?

Hello Cotton
I really like the body glaze. It’s almost a light, refreshing moisturizer but there’s just something about it that’s still very emollient.

I have some coming, so Yay! I’m looking forward to trying it and reviewing it.
The packaging is so cute… Haven’t tried it but would love to
I really love the handwriting font she uses. So cute
Thanks for posting this. I love the Beach House scent and the Poodle one sounds really yum. I want to try the moisturizers too, but I’ve only used the bar soap (which I love) and the makeup.

She’s got some really gorgeous eye shadows too
Haven’t tried these. I’d veer toward the natural ingredients, too.
Perfect name for the product – such a sassy namesake!
