Wednesday morning, I wore very simple but brightening makeup for my plane ride to Indiana. I didn’t snap a picture (was too nervous, however, there are other pictures in here!), but I wore:

After landing in Indiana (and being a bit frazzled from the flight and realizing I felt claustrophobic on the plane) I was surprised to look in the mirror and see that I looked polished. I now understand why women swoon over Stila Kitten. While it’s a boring shade for me for every day (since I enjoy color), it brightened my face and eyes and it’s definitely pretty when you just want to enhance your natural looks.

For Thanksgiving I put together a gold and purple look and I love how the blending turned out.

Yes, I wore Golden Rose lipstick every single day. It was my go to lipstick and worked really well to provide me color without being too dark. I trusted Hard Candy’s Moon Glow Powder and L’Oreal’s Studio Secrets Primer to keep my skin looking good, as well as Boots No.7′s illuminating concealer. Urban Decay, Fyrinnae and MAC made my peepers pop, though I’ve gotta give props to Stila Kitten.

I really had a fantastic time in Indiana visiting with my family and friends. It was worth the stress of the flight to go see everyone.
I forgot to take pix of my nails but I wore China Glaze Rodeo Fanatic on my toes. On my tips I wore Finger Paints Butterscotch Cookie and had an accent color of Zoya Blair. Butterscotch Cookie is a golden shade, Blair is a blackened burgundy red, and Rodeo Fanatic is a deep dark teal.

I was out of town for 2 weeks, so I brought a similar amount of makeup:
Translucent setting powder, concealer, white eyeliner, grey eyeliner, liquid liner, NYX white jumbo pencil, a pearly shimmery eyeshadow, brow powder, mascara, and Sugarpill’s BH palette. Looking at your pretty gold looks, I wish I had remembered to bring Goldilux too. I totally forgot to bring eye primer, so I made my own every morning when I put on my makeup (concealer and body butter). Kinda worked!
All I did to my hair was:
1. Flat iron.
2. TREsemme hair spray
That’s it
You’re lucky you could make your own primer! My lids are oily, it would have smeared all over.
