I had been searching for the Wet n’ Wild Night Elf Palette for weeks when I finally found it at Walgreens this weekend. It apparently sold out quickly because there was only 1 palette left in the display and it was luckily the Night Elf one. I happily snagged it, because I thought it was pretty and would have colors that would work well with the Lust palette.
The palette was only $4.99, which isn’t bad at all, and it came with a black eyeliner pencil. I haven’t yet swatched the pencil as I wanted to get the palette done.
The colors are:
A shimmery white, a very pale gold, and a reddish brown with turquoise duochrome for the top row.
The second row is a metallic silver that just screams Holidays to me, as well as a satiny red with micro shimmer and a black with big silver sparkles.
The colors are all lovely and pigmented and they applied evenly and easily over Aromaleigh Light Primer.
As for the name, I love the fact that it’s night elf, since my druid started as a night elf, I’ve got a night elf rogue and I will be changing my mage to night elf as soon as it’s possible. Three cheers for fun gaming nomenclature!
What do you think of this palette? I think it’s definitely unusual to see such a pretty red shade in a drugstore palette, especially one with as nice of a texture as this one. I can easily see why all of these palettes are selling out! I’m just glad I was able to pick this one up.

The same thing happened to me with this palette! It was the only one left in the display so I grabbed it. I really like it, especially the silver color. I also like that it’s called Night Elf, I’m SO READY to be able to make a night elf mage.

I’m so happy I got this one. They all seem to be gone now. I thought of you when I got Night Elf because you have inspired me to try a red shadow. And I can’t believe I used it and loved it!

I like the name too, Night Elf is my second favorite race. (First is Draenei, believe it or not ;3)

I found these at my local Walgreen’s last week! I also grabbed the Night Elf (two, in fact, from two different Walgreen’s one for me and one for a friend) *and* the Golden Goddess – which I highly recommend. GG is just gorgeous and everything looks fantastic.
Who knew Wet n’ Wild was so awesome? Oh, and if you guys have Walmarts nearby or are subscribed to “All You” magazine clip the “$5 off $10 wet n’ wild purchase” and you’ll basically be getting two palettes for the price of one. bad. ass.
I need to find the Golden Goddess. I’ve been obsessed with golds lately, as you’ve probably noticed!

Want! I haven’t seen it around where I live but I’m searching. I love palettes, they’re awesome for traveling and since I’m back and forth between here and Atlanta so much it’s such a good investment.
Also, that reddish-brown is what I’d hoped “Dragon Scales” by Lime Crime would be.
The Reddish-Brown is like TKB’s Chameleon or MAC’s Club or Aromaleigh Pure Hue Coco Mauve. It’s a nice fun versatile shade.
So it IS like Dragon Scales. Because it’s the exact same thing as TKB’s Chameleon.
I’m STILL kicking myself for wasting $12 on that crap…

I am lucky to have a Walgreens and a Kroger where the WnW palettes are still available. I have bought three of the four (didn’t think I’d wear the green/blue one). They are SO Beautiful!!! That’s right, capital B! I might go ahead and buy that sad fourth one now…
They’re definitely lovely and nice from WnW. My favorite gel eyeliner is from WnW too, right now.
I’ve been lemming this palette solely because of the red, but I didn’t realise there was such an awesome MAC Club-esque duochrome shade too! :O

Yeah, that’s the TKB Chameleon / Aromaleigh Pure Huge Coco Mauve shade
The gold is interesting, it looks brown in the palette, and like antiqued gold on the swatch. The brick red one, with teal shimmer…you can get something very similar to that from TKB, it is called “Chameleon Glitter”. I use it as a base for a couple of my colors. It’s very pretty.

Yeah I knew it was close to TKB Chameleon. I have Aromaleigh’s Pure hue in Coco Mauve, which is this same color. It’s the color that most people are going crazy over, aside from the red.
Yeah the gold is really pretty, such a pale antique gold shade.
