A while back I purchased the Avon ANEW Rejuvenate Night Revitalizing Cream from Avon. I thought it would be a nice, moisturizing night time cream for my skin.

The Website Claims:

In just 7 days produces results of a professional anti-aging facial*. Reduces fine lines & visible pore size, smoothes texture & evens skin tone.
In just 2 weeks** dramatically reduces the look of fine wrinkles.
Over time*** 100% of women showed improvement in texture, tone & clarity. Pore size is visibly reduced by 30%.
The Ingredients are:
Water, Peg-8, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Dimethicone, Isocetyl Stearate, Tromethamine, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Dilauryl Thiodipropionate, Thiodipropionic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Eclipta Prostrata Extract, Gossypium Herbaceum (Cotton) Extract, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Tocopherol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Squalane, Silica, Di-Ppg-3 Myristyl Ether Adipate, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Lauryl Peg-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Caprylyl Glycol, Isoceteth-20, Peg-100 Stearate, Cetearyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Peg-40 Stearate, Polysorbate 60,Glycerin, Peg/Ppg-20/23 Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Steareth-20, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Mica, Titanium Dioxide
Price:
$30 for 1.7 oz on Avon, but you can buy it on Amazon for $14
Packaging:
It’s packaged in a jar. I hate the jar. I hate dipping my fingers into it. Yuck. Also, apparently jar packaging causes the product to be exposed to the air and to make its effectiveness diminish over time.
Product:
Now, I have to admit it, I like this product. I like it a lot. I put it on my face, eyes and neck and let it sink in before I go to bed. In the morning, I wake up and my skin feels plump and moist but not greasy. I have sensitive, combination skin and this doesn’t irritate my skin at all.
Does it live up to its claims?
I feel it does make my skin look better. It works well as a moisturizer for me. I don’t feel like it reduces pore size or evens skin tone. I think the claim that all women show improvement is a bit silly. I think if everyone has a skincare routine where they use moisturizer day and night their skin will improve. So I’d say it lives up to some of its claims and other claims are a bit specious.
Would I purchase again?
Maybe. I’m still on the hunt for the perfect night time moisturizer. This is the best one I’ve tried so far, but I hate the jar packaging. I hate it a lot. If it came in a pump, I’d probably purchase it again.
Product was purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

Hello Cotton
I’m glad to know you like this, I just ordered it, along with the daytime cream yesterday! They are both “try me” sizes. I didn’t want to spend a lot on a new product that I may not like.

I can’t wait to hear what you think about it. To me, it’s best selling point is that I don’t wake up feeling greasy. It’s cool they had ‘try me’ sizes.
I also hate jars! My favorite moisturizer comes in a jar and I’m hoping to find some sort of pump bottle to transfer it into. I am thinking of trying out the Mark one that you use as my day moisturizer and keep the one I currently use as a night moisturizer as it doesn’t have any SPF.

That would work!
This sounds great!!! I have been searching … well, meaning to search for … a new night cream since I started using mineral foundation and my skin has dried out completely. This sounds really good, thanks for the review!
You’re quite welcome! It seems nice.
Jan Marini sells a Transformation Cream that comes in a jar, but they have a Transformation Serum that comes in a bottle. My skin is sensitive, and I’ve never had any problems with it.
Where do you buy Jan Marini at?
