Silver Night

I wanted a silvery-grey look for today. I think this turned out ok, but I need to figure out how to make it better. I think i should have added some matte black in the outer vee for more depth. I love the MAC Veluxe Pearl finish, which is what inspired me to do this look. I wanted another holiday look that leaned silver without glitter. So the two main colors I used in this look, Silver Ring and Knight Divine, are veluxe pearl. For my other holiday looks for this year:
Purple & Gold, Green & SilverGoldBurgundy & Bronzey-Gold, and Blood & Gold.

I’ve been digging silver looks lately. I generally wear lots of golds, but something about this winter has me craving cooler tones.

      • Phyrra

        I’m finally a fan of both ;)

I agree With Anna :) , peacock is a really awesome color. I need to get some light silvers into my collection, this look is awesome.

      • Phyrra

Thanks Anna! Peacock is definitely pretty.

All that blue somehow makes your eyes seem very green! The Blanc Type does a fab job of brightening and widening your eyes; you look so awake and alert. (Insert envy here.)

Aww thanks Jean! I thought it was a nice alternative to UD Yeyo.

Hi! you look so cute! I love that silvery look. I think it is perfect for the winter time. Your blog has really inspired me to try some new look, although Im not as talented at doing makeup as you are. But I am practicing. Do you have any nude looks?

      • Phyrra

I think I have a few under nude/natural look tags/category. I tend to suck at them, to be honest, but I’ve been practicing. I posted one today.

I love a silver and black smokey eye. It is so classic and awesome for going out and special occaisions. I would have paired this with black eyeliner; I love your unique twist on a classic look by using the peacock liner.

      • Phyrra

Thanks! I just was dying to use the liner.
