Supernova Designs – A Review

Recently I came across Supernova Designs on Etsy. I was looking for cute little clips for my hair. Whenever my hair is shorter, I’m compelled to put some sort of clip or barrette on the right side to keep the wispies at bay.

I found some adorable little star clips that were just the perfect size and an unbeatable price of $3 per pair. I quickly snagged a lime green pair and a hot pink pair.

Shipping was a total of $2.90 ($2.50 for the first item and $.40 for the 2nd), and the owner surprised me by convo’ing and offering to let me pick them up in person, since she’s local to me in Tampa. I was unable to do this because of my hectic work schedule, but I really appreciated the offer!

The clips are well made. The metal of the clips doesn’t catch or snag in my hair and pull strands out like some of my clips do (I’m looking at you, my Tokidoki skulls!). The stars are slightly larger than pennies, and the snap clips are about 1.5 inches (4 cm) long. The stars are made of fabric and are attached with industrial strength glue. Both sets I have I think look lovely.

Would I purchase again?
I’m very happy with the clips that I purchased from Supernova Designs. Yes! I’ve actually got a custom order of clips in the works right now. I wanted ones in every color – black, fuchsia, iridescent white, dark purple and iridescent turquoise.

Do you like kawaii hair clips? Have you tried Supernova Designs?
