I put together this look in a different way than I normally do my looks. I applied eye shadow primer as normal. However, I next applied Glamour Doll Eyes Chicago to the upper half of my eyelid, leaving a gap next to my lash line, and applied it to my crease. I then applied MAC Vellum on the browbone and blended downward. Widely along my upper lash line, I applied Fyrinnae La Noche. I used Avon’s gel pencil in Steel along the lower lash line and then carefully applied La Noche on top of that as well. I used GDE New York City to blend out the upper crease area where Chicago and Vellum met. Finally I put some Vellum at the inner corners of my eye.

Ok, I couldn’t get the problem to show up in Chrome or Firefox, but I did get it to show up in Internet Explorer 8. What I did to solve the problem was simply reload the page. For whatever reason, I think IE hates .png picture format and that’s why you may see boxes sometimes.
Maybe try reloading the page? I am using .png format hosted where my blog is hosted these days, instead of photobucket so that I only am paying for 1 service instead of 2.
Oooh cool placement!
love the lipgloss too

I’ve wanted those Too Faced sparkler glosses (all of them!) for so long! I don’t know why I don’t pick any up, I just seem to forget they exist and then I’ll go back in the store when I don’t have money to blow and curse myself because I bought something else.
You can get all 4 of them for cheap from All Cosmetics Wholesale.
Very pretty! Love that lip color on you!

Thanks Roxcat!
Oh, that is GORGEOUS!
Can I ask how you photographed it, lighting, etc? That sparkle is luscious, and I’ve been having a beast of a time getting that kind of clarity in my eye macros.

For my eyes, I sit in my room that has mostly windows (ceiling to floor), with all the natural light coming in. I use the macro setting and I brace my arm on the sofa’s arm. I hold very still and then take the close ups of my eyes. Then I usually adjust, turn off the macro setting and do my face/neck for the full head shot. I do use flash.
