Recently I received a few things from BftE Cosmetics. I had made a purchase when they had their Try Me sets (1 full size and 4 sample jars).
I purchased a full size of Very Vanilla, and sample jars of Naked Truth, Malt, Crystal, and Twisted. I received a PR set of their Valentine’s Day collection with Vixen, Spank Me, Bondage, Midnight Kisses, Butt Naked, and Goddess blush. I also received a surprise gift from Crystal! It was the 18 piece vegan brush set, which I will be reviewing! The brushes have the feel of the Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair brushes, so I’m really looking forward to reviewing them.
Anyway, on to the swatching!!!
My shade descriptions:
Vixen – deep metallic red
Spank Me – metallic burgundy with a blackened base and subtle mutli-colored shimmer
Bondage – Deep metallic charcoal with subtle multi-colored shimmer
Midnight Kisses – deep saturated blue-based purple subtle multi-colored shimmer
Butt Naked – light beige with a satin finish, perfect highlighter
Goddess – golden peach bush
Twisted – matte vibrant light yellow-green
Crystal – gorgeous white with rainbow shimmer
Malt – matte yellow-beige
Very Vanilla – perfect light beige matte
Naked Truth – light dusty silver-gold with hint of pink, maybe light platinum shimmer
Butt Naked looks like a shimmery form of Very Vanilla, which is cool. I love Bondage, not only for the name but for the deep silky metallic color. Spank Me has such surprising blue sparkles in it! Midnight Kisses is a pretty deep rich purple, which looks blue in my pictures. Twisted is an awesome vibrant matte. I like Malt and need to try it out soon. And Naked Truth is so pretty! Crystal has rainbow sparkles.
I really think the Valentine’s Day set from BftE is cute. I also like the colors I purchased, and I can’t wait to play with the brushes. Have you tried any BftE Cosmetics lately?

I kinda want Spank Me just for the name, well no… actually the color is pretty interesting too. And I’m not really into spanking per se, but the name made me laugh. Anyway, pretty colors and I can’t wait to hear how you like the brushes. I’m thinking it’s about time for me to invest in a decent brush set.

Ooh, the brush set! I was just looking at that a few days ago! I’ve got a few things on my checklist of “beauty stuff I want/need” and all that’s left is brushes and fancy lipstick. I’m only interested in purchasing vegan brushes and that looks like a great set. Sets scare me though, as usually the brush quality is a little lower than individuals. I’m eager for your review.
